I could also say the same for your ignorance...

We all have relatives hurt or killed in war, your not the only one

I cant think of too many more tragic events than Sept 11th when it comes to terrorism
And why is that? Because it happened to be Americans who died?

What about bombing hospitals and schools, not to mention that medicine factory, because they were thought of as military targets? Isn't that terrorism either? It's even worse than regular terrorism, at least terrorists have a cause!

Yes, a lot of Americans died the 11th of September. A lot of people died in thousands of other terrorist acts as well. And guess what, people always die! Did you know people don't have to be killed to die? Please, it's not because you and every other American is scared to death from every ****ing little thing you can stroll around and make the world yours. Stop being so frightened for god's sake.

Thts all well and good, but the next attacks on our countries wont be planes crashing into buildings, or car bombs ala the IRA

Attitudes will change if what is expected to happen next, does
Alright, I guess our attitude would change if we were to install a dictator that would turn against us in the long run. What will the next attacks be? Probably American warfare. People like you are the reason for most violence in the world, Vinny. It's because people like you are so damn scared a lot of people have to die and make up for their fears. You might want to start being a big boy now. There's nothing to be afraid of in the dark.

You're all a bunch of fucking idiots who can't help but pound their chest whenever you get the opportunity.

And in other more important news, I've been diagnosed with clinical depression, and am currently on Lexapro for the next two weeks to see how that works out.

And in other news, part II, I'm going on tuesday to put the final signature on my new car.

Bah. Be it my ignorance, be it something else, point is you're scared. And you'll always be scared, and you'll always be repsonsible for things like war and terrorism. It's your fear that makes those things possible.

At the same time, in the supposed name of fighting terrorism (whereas we've long since proven that any terrorist links to Iraq were foolhardy at best), we as a nation have created our own tragic events at least on the scale of Sept 11th in Iraq. And I don't even mean to the Iraqis, which is a whole other league. I mean just to ourselves.

In terms of Americans dead, in terms of the billions of dollars in the economy (currently at $1,100 per person now). Let's be aware that in the name of fighting another Sept 11th we've created death and destruction and economic hardship on ourselves as a nation that has even surpassed a Sept 11th. Maybe it didn't come in a shock moment of terror, but it came as a deliberate action we willingly did to ourselves over time.

For all the American soldiers who died and for all the money that could have been spent in other areas of anti-terrorism, I really hope Iraq will be worth creating our own Sept 11th ... or two, given the rate at which things are going. If we're going to prevent Sept 11ths from happening in the future, we shouldn't be creating too many of our own to do it. That's insanity.

I wonder, how can Americans not be scared if the terrorist used the Americans own airplanes and crashed them into their own buildings? An airplane being crashed into a building is something you dont see any given day.
And it makes me scared to travel on american airlines because it could happen again. Sadly I gotta do it because thats my only option

Do you know how ****ing dangerous cars are? I believe more people die in cars that crash into other cars than in airplanes that are crahsed into buildings by terrorists. You might want to think about that.

When i'm in planes alone I imagine various flight disasters (mostly because im bored, partly to scare myself). I work it all out, figure out the exact people that would die in what sequence, imagine someone sucked out of the plane like in final destination and watch them falling until I could see them anymore. On takeoff I like to imagine the plane blowing up as it reaches the height that french plane did. Its edgy but still I cant even make myself scared.

I watched Pet Cemetery and IT when I was very young, now nothing can scare me. I cant get afraid of movies or real life situations. Though i do sometimes wonder if my dog Zombie will come back and fvck me up, that would be cool :D
