I could also say the same for your ignorance...
We all have relatives hurt or killed in war, your not the only one
I cant think of too many more tragic events than Sept 11th when it comes to terrorism
At the same time, in the supposed name of fighting terrorism (whereas we've long since proven that any terrorist links to Iraq were foolhardy at best), we as a nation have
created our own tragic events at least on the scale of Sept 11th in Iraq. And I don't even mean to the Iraqis, which is a whole other league. I mean just to ourselves.
In terms of Americans dead, in terms of the billions of dollars in the economy (currently at $1,100 per person now). Let's be aware that in the name of fighting another Sept 11th we've created death and destruction and economic hardship on ourselves as a nation that has even surpassed a Sept 11th. Maybe it didn't come in a shock moment of terror, but it came as a deliberate action we willingly did to ourselves over time.
For all the American soldiers who died and for all the money that could have been spent in other areas of anti-terrorism, I really hope Iraq will be worth creating our own Sept 11th ... or two, given the rate at which things are going. If we're going to prevent Sept 11ths from happening in the future, we shouldn't be creating too many of our own to do it. That's insanity.
