Well Andrew and I both play D2 Soccer here, so why not come on over and have a go.
Yeah D2 soccer. Amazing.

Actually the Brit we have on our team here is fvcking rubbish.
Ask him did who he played for in England. I bet he's a fat bastard that never played for anyone.

I'm not trying to rant on you here, but your coming here you will see for yourself.

I'll bet you £100 right now that you will never play a competitive football match.

Yeah it is. I've seen it. It's garbage.

If you were half decent in American you would be playing for atleast a B or Reserve team.

Are you? No. You play for your university.

No offence again but that level of football is comparative to football we play in the park.

I've seen them and decided.
Well I played with some jokers over there when I was younger and held my own, douche cock. Plus, a good friend of mine plays on the DC United youth squad, and he is about as good as Almunia.

I fail to understand how people will take American soccer seriously if they keep introducing teams named

Chivas USA
and Real Manchester United or whatever

Obviosuly I'm not good enough to play MLS, but I do play college ball. College is very competitive nowadays and if you were unaware soccer is the most played youth sport in the country, and has been for a long time now.

When have you seen our soccer in action here? Have you played college ball? Have you seen A-League matches before?

Probably not, and I never said I would. I obviously wouldn't make any lower division side and I'm not sure how the University teams are so I can't comment. I've never seen Uni of Liverpool play so I'm unaware.

The guy is from Southampton and I doubt he played for any of the top youth sides there. He's a decent player but nothing special.

I play the game because it's fun. If I wanted to become better and make D1 or A-League I would have ran my ass off, training all year, going to every clinic I could. I just was too lazy for that. So I'll settle for college ball.

Maybe he'll be able to play first division in two years. Give the guy a break he's following his dream

It is comparative to your League One.
Oh shut the hell up. Your telling me you could both be playing for Tranmere Rovers and the like? :howler:

I guarantee, right now. You wouldn't even make the B team. You wouldn't even make it into Nationwide. This is a fact. Y

MLS might compare to League One, anything else compares to Nationwide and below. The level of football you know, is not comparable to the English leagues.

Don't kid yourself, seriously.

Andy Uni of Liverpool is only a Uni team for students to play in a few times a week and that is competitive out of about 10,000 students. You realise how hard that is to even get into?

FACT: No Uni players have ever made it into a competitive league here (not that I know off)

If you havn't done it by 20, you won't, not in this country.

I'm not talking about the US, you could achieve something I don't know. But seriously don't kid yourself into comparing these leagues, they do not compare.

No he won't. How is he going to get in? Unless a first division scout is over there and picks him up. Which isn't likely considering he will be 22 years old.

Only being realistic here, and only saying this in the first place because they are seriously down grading the quality of the leagues here.

When have I compared the leagues? Of course the level of soccer is higher in England, I'm not contesting that and like I said I don't know what the University teams are like there. But now I know that I probably wouldn't make Uni of Liverpool, and that's good to know. Now the .00000% chance of me trying out is pretty much 0%. Thats grand.

But yeah I'm a horrible footy player, thanks for pointing that out.

Mature way to deal with it.

Ok I'm wrong, D2 is just like English League 1.

Andy and Burke, here's a british youth league. NI Milk Cup. They bring a USA team, they might have US teams in the club sections, try to make that sometime (which btw you won't).

That is your only way into a British club.
