Can you ever? Lets put this into perspective here, this isnt a regular occurance, or more the amount of flares was rare, but games arent always abandoned, i'm sorry to say but I feel sorry for Inter, the ref in that game sucked and we all know how much it would of meant to the fans for them to of beaten Milan, so I can understand why they were upset, obviously they did the wrong thing but really what can you do? Football athorities dont go, okay the ref made the wrong decisions let us put Inter through, they were going out wrongly and they re-acted badly...
Well goal.com reports that it was all pre-planned by the inter ultras to sabotage the match if things werent going good for their team as a message to morrati. And the overwhelmingly huge amount of flair proves it...I dont think that there was ever that amount of flairs in any match before...so dont put it on the ref ...it was all orchestrated!

:D Goal.com is rubbish!

Anyway, there is always loads of flares at the stadium, every clubs Ultras are allowed to bring what they want without being searched, so they probably always have that many, just that they never threw so many before...

Threw so many before??!!

Its not like the bring them to throw them on the pitch! half a dozen is probably enough for a match...yesterday there was at least 2 dozens!..and no goal.com is not rubbish. Instead of critisizing the credibility of the news source...counter my argument or provide us with a more dependable news source saying otherwise!

Oh FFS sake what game did you watch? Inter was hardly innocent and the victim and Inter was not robbed of a damn thing. Materazzi and Cordoba were hacking down players like lumberjacks and the yellow cards were evenly distributed. More over, that headbutt was far from intentional as the Matrix charged Sheva AND he got up 30 seconds after apparently 'being headbutted'.
Fact: INTER WAS DOWN 2-0.
Fact: INTER WAS DOWN 1-0 AT THE HALF ON A PERFECTLY LEGAL GOAL.
Fact: INTER NEEDED 4 GOALS TO MAKE IT THROUGH.
Fact: INTER may have scored a correct goal in the 30th minute of the second half making them need another 3 goals in 15 minutes. Something they could not do in the last 225 minutes against Milan.

Your actually going to state that Inter was robbed? Robbed of what...they played a much more talented and organized squad which beat them in the last 2 encounters....Inter may have been denied a goal with 15 minutes left but they were NOT denied a win.

SELL THAT SH*T TO THE TOURISTS.
I understand that you're being a fan, but that doesn't mean that you should be irrational.

I have seen the highlights on EurosportNews, and fact is this: Shevchenko head butted Materrazzi (which is why UEFA are looking into it in the first place).

Agreed, Inter were not going to win anyways, if you go and look at my posts in some thread other than this one, you'll find that I clearly stated that.

But it still doean't change the fact that on the night Milan had some "help".

Fact: Cambiasso's goal was a good goal. Deny that!

Fact: It wouldn't have changed the complaxion of the tie. Inter went out when they failed to score last week.

What the Inter fans did was despicable, but it shouldn't be an excuse to gloss over Milan's own failings.

irrational? Please show me where I was being irrational. Irrational is defined as not using reason or clear thinking. Please tell me how stating that Inter had no chance of success regardless of one bad call is irrational.

Where does it say UEFA is looking into it? Where was there any indication of an intent to injure..they did not even show the replay during the game. Hardly as shocking as you would lead us to believe...especially given the fact that Materazzi did not even get off the field for a minute.

Then why state that it was a money issue and imply that a FIX was in....and that the final goal is seeing Milan-Chelsea make it. Your suggesting that milan's goals and wins were not legitimate...and your blaming ME FOR IRRATIONAL THINKING??

Show me the HELP. Did the goals from the last game not count? Was the 2-0 score not legit?
    Was Sheva's goal not legit?
Was Inter denied 3 goals or 4 goals...where is this blatant help you speak of...

Officiating errors happen every week..just watch a Juve game for evidence. And Cambiasso scored...and it was 1-1 with 14 minutes left....where is the injustice?
Would Inter suddendly score 3 goals..some thing they have not done in the last 4 matches against Milan????????

What was Milan's failings? HOW IS A DISALLOWED GOAL or A BAD CALL Milan's failings???????

Is it not Uefa's failings or rather the officials failing?? Milan scored 3 goals against Inter...and INter may have been denied ONE GOAL....
    HOw did MIlan fail?

so the score MAY have been 1-0 for Inter.

Being happy that a human being is struck by a flare and is injured speaks volumes about your insanity and violent nature...you have already proven to us that you are all for violent acts ... wow you are really a CLASS ACT

Deserved because they never scored a goal the first game and got two goals or because they have failed to score against milan in over 250 minutes of play?
    What are you talking about?

    you are one sick fvck

Not even Inter fans are accusing Milan of going through because of help..they realize their team DID not play good enough to win and realized they lost to a more talented team.
Your anti-Milan nature is getting the best of most of you....face the facts: Milan is and was the better team. if you can't see that you really don't know your football. END OF STORY.

Wow...you really show your intelligence level every time you post....

How much Italian soccer do you watch ???

In many games, you can see a few flares thrown onto the field, and have to watch the firemen come out and extinguish the damn things...

Last night, it was worse than ever, so why shouldnt flares be banned

As far as bottles go, maybe Italy can take a lesson from American stadiums which use only plasrtic bottles, and do NOT give the person the bottlecap when the beverage is sold. That will prevent these from being used as missiles

Maybe everyone coming into the stadium should be patted down for weapons (loose keys, knives, fireworks- remember when Dida had a firework go off next to him last season ??)

No way!! Flares make Italian football great, it creates a fantastic atmosphere, banning it is the WRONG thing to do!!
and England doesnt have a wonderful atmosphere at their games ???
