Shutting down Barca while creating chances for themselves. I don't know what everyone's love for Barca is because they have not been that impressive when you look past their attack. Having a player sent off can change faces of games like no other.

you and I are the only people i know who arent caught up in the barcelona craze. Crappy defence line, and no strong DM. Should fly out in the Bridge.

Well, they had one last year (DM), but the greedy little prick decided that money was more important

I know you detest Americans players, which is fine, but Carroll is no better than Howard.
Thats an image you placed in your own mind. Truth is I have no real dislike against any american, wasnt I going out with one you tard? Does that make sense? Hating an american goalkeeper that has nothing to do with me in any way whatsoever yet going out with an american.

Not the sharpest knife in the drawer are you?

I hate 'america'. Not americans.

Though I hate blonde people, cops, lawyers and incubos. :D

Keller? Come on now. He wouldnt last a minute in the epl anymore.

Btw whats everyone so pumped over the Barca win for. 2-1, Chelsea have an away goal. Could they have hoped for a better result? I think Chelsea will win in London. It will be a close call.

James vs. Keller...

you know youve got a keeper problem when a thirty six american is better then your number one.

Obviously I’m happy about the result but I was never really worried about this match. I knew it would be tense and certain players would be nervous but the “Man U” is on fire argument I took with a grain of salt…Man U much like English football just does not impress me enough to scare me. I think Milan could have widened the score if they brought their game to MAN U..which they did to a certain extent but in the first half were in a sort of middle ground (so to speak). It seems that Man U’s near goal woke them up to say “ok …lets play”.
Given the fact that Rui Costa barely gets playing time and this formation was not THAT utilized and they still won I think it should perseverance. That said I will now officially admit that while Kaka is still a pillar on this club in making giant midfield strides he needs to bring up his game and became a scoring threat much more. Last season we relied on him when Sheva was off or out. This season we need goals from him..or rather we will need goals from him. He needs to shake whatever monkey is on his back and play. Man U played at full tilt minus Van Nil. Who may have not been 100%….we lacked our scoring leader (Sheva) a key striker (Inzaghi) and a key defender (Stam) and still managed to win. For that, and as usual Man U= MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING.

Yeah I don't really get it. Everybody is in awe with Barca, probably because of the attacking power they possess. You must look past that. The last time a brilliant attacking team has won the CL was Real Madrid in 2002, a team that fielded the DM pivot Claude Makelele; a type of player Barca does not have because they let go of Davids.

Yes, but this year, you also have Crespo, and that's a huge advantage that Milan didn't have last season.

You have not really said anything good about any of our players, so you give me the impression that you do not think much of American players. Like I said that is perfectly fine.

Keller is just as good as David James.

What i was really impressed with was Cafu. I have been for a while. Until recently, i had no clue he was really that good.

Maldini.. now there is a player. did you see that lovely execution during the second half where he turned rooney (or VN) on the edge of the outline?

Exactly. They signed too many offensive minded players in the summer too. Deco cannot play in his natrual position because Ronaldino is adopting it.

Brilliant, I totally agree. Milan gave Manure a demonstration of how to play football tonight at the "Theatre of Dreams."

Indeed, Pirlo is your most important player.

What have I said about any players? I never post about football unless someone (usually you) talks such crap. I disagreed with you on comparing tard face 'Adu' to Rooney. And I brought you back to reality on Mickeymouse League Soccer. How does that mean I hate americans. Why would I? Im not a terrorist.

David James is rubbish but like I said he isnt our number one keeper. Robinson is and he is a million miles better than Kasey Keller. I mean fair enough he USED to be a semi decent keeper. Now he's a complete waste of space.

When you dont know who our number one is what is the point discussing it.

You brought me back down to earth on the MLS topic? When was this? I don't think I even left "earth" with that discussion. :howler:

I know our league has a way to go.

Waste of space? Surely you do not have a keen sense of picking out good keepers. Robinson is no better than David James either.
