1.5 euros for 5 kilometres? That's plain ridiculous. I mean, I don't know what you can buy with 1.5 euros in Rijeka, but in Belgium taking the bus will cost you that much.

A bus will cost you that much here as well. However in Rijeka some Taxi companies who couldn't get into the sindycate, or something like that I don't know much of the story, revolted and said they're gonna drastically lower the prices and run the other companies out of business unless they change their policy. It's like that only in Rijeka and it won't last long as I doubt 1.5 euro for 5km can cover much of the expenses, not to mention the other companies who are loosing big money.
I just lost my driver license for 6 fucking months. For what? For not even being drunk. 0,8 of alcohol in my blood (it´s not in percents, I forgot the English word for alcohol measuring unit). I´m sure in some countries I would pass with only a money fine. Fuck Croatia and their stupid law!

easy there chump, for similiar offence in canada you would have gotten 1 year suspenssion and paid a fine on top of paying double or triple for insurance in the years to come
