I've actually played worse sports myself... :undecide:
I played rugby in gym class once. Had a head on collision with a girl at the knees, was out in pain the rest of the period. She was fine. My knees are not titanium though.

Never played rugby again.

It isn't even televised in this country and we're pretty much the only nation on earth that has a national league for it. Says enough.
The Netherlands have won all world cup titles but one :D

It is derived from Netball. When you click on the link of Netball it says it is derived from Basketball :D

I also liked the fact that the team is four men and four women, can't it be played with say five women and three men?

No. Of course on junior levels it happens cause there won't always be enough players cause the sport isn't popular. But officially, no. Which is weird :D

It's better than that crap we call the National Football League. Overhyped nonsense, but I still watch it.
The NFL is jacked up wayyyyy too much. But then, at least the talent level comes to at least the same vicinity. College football is worse, in my mind, because of the bowl game coverage relative to the talent level. I mean, you can't even get Italians to watch the Coppa, let alone a series of Serie B title matches.

I just have a hard time understanding why following your high school football team while you're no longer in high school is completely dorky, and yet following college football when you're no longer anywhere near a college is somehow respectable. Same is true for basketball.

Of course, in your case Andy, you have all the excuse in the world, as you're in college, which is perfectly reasonable.

The only bad thing about college football season is that there isn't anything on other than college football, which unless its WVU, Texas, or Georgia I really don't care.
