Has it been months??

Man, that's a long time.

'Sup, Donny???

I missed my loverboy Padovano. I couldn't resist his charms any longer.

I have a feeling my return will be met with less than enthusastic reponses from the holier-than thou of this website.

Especially since I plan on writing some more Alex Samatar stories and reviving the WBTYA.

Oh yeah.

Note to everyone who felt righteous a couple of months ago:

Alex Samatar is a fake.

Well, this should get the board hopping again.
REALLY? Are you serious Serge?!! :D

Welcome back man. :)

Yeah you had mentioned that. Don't worry though, once I get Madden you'll be in store for a major ass whoopin with my Lions. :D

And how about my Pistons eh? :D

Welcome back Serge.
Thanks, little bro.

I feel like Mase. You know, the rapper)

except, I didn't go off and do God's work, and I'm still rapping about bling-bling and hoes.

The only work I did (and still doing) is renovating a house.

Yippee. Good Times.

!

And if you mean the Samatar stories I don't think I found them too venomous at anytime, unless someone can shut me down with some quote from me calling it nasty or something. It doesn't matter now anyway. :)
And it could be Josh, he is crazy enough... I don't know?

And while we're talking about sports games, I picked up NBA Live 2004(PS2) for practically nothing at a secondhand store, I'd whop all of you in that!

Tork, NBA2K4 wipes the floor with NBA Live 2004.

Wrong choice, man.

But, since it was cheap, there really isn't a wrong choice.

Speaking of which, NHL2K5 just came out for PS2, and XBOX (the version I have), and its only selling for 19.99 here in the states. Its possible you can get it cheap over in Norway as well.

I know. They had it nowhere! :( Not 03 (ESPN Basketball) either. 2K4 hasn't arrived over here at all actually. I'll gettit when it arrives. Needed the Live as a quick fix, too much olympic B-ball on the TV not to get something.

Oh yeah, Olympic basketball.

Hmmm..........................

I tell you what. I don't blame the players on the US team at all for what happened? How can any American be mad at those guys? THOSE ARE THE ONES WHO SHOWED UP AND WANTED TO PLAY FOR THEIR COUNTRY!!! B]

I blame the USA basketball committee for not selecting the right group of players who fit that international style of packing the Zone defense, clogging the lanes, and making you shoot from outside. Michael Redd, Brent Barry, or Ray Allen would have done wonders for that team.

Know who else I blame??

Sorry Andy, but I blame Larry Brown as well. Know why? How is a team supposed to have a winning attitude when your head coach is complaining about how little time they had to prepare, and complain about how his team wasn't best suited for the olympics.

Here, read this, and you'll see what I mean. I knew this before this article came out, but it only cemented my beliefs from the very beginning. I also gained a ton of respect for Allen Iverson after reading this as well.

http://sports.espn.go.com/oly/summer04/basketball/columns/story?id=1870490

Oh, and for the record, a USA team with Shaq, Kobe, T-Mac, Kidd, Garnett, and Vince Carter on it as well as Iverson, Duncan, and Lebron, would have wiped the floor with the rest of the world. Sorry if I sound cocky, but its the truth. However, for whatever reasons, be it legal (Kobe), injury (Kidd), or just being dumbasses, (the rest), it didn't happen.

LeBron?! But he went, and hardly played! And Ray Allen wasn't asked to go? I just assumed that he didn't want to. Who picked the players who went?

And when Lebron did get a chance to play, he was excellent. He helped create space in the zone defense by breaking it down and kicking it out to the wing men for open looks, or able to dish it down low to Duncan so that his sloth-ass didn't have to take 10 seconds to get a post up move started.

And LeBron, unlike that little punk Carmelo Anthony (you b!tch), actually wanted to be there and showed that he cared.

You know why Ray Allen, Brent Barry, Ron Artest, Paul Pierce didn't go, or weren't invited?

I'll be more than glad to tell you why.

How many people do you know that would run out and buy an Olympic jersey with Ray Allen, Brent Barry, or Ron Artest on it?

If you said Zero, give yourself a round of applause. team USA looked at this as an opportunity to sell more product, and nothing more than that.

Oh yeah, add Jermaine O'Neal to the list of players I mentioned earlier.

Ray Allen is a known player, he would have sold some jerseys. Barry or Artest wouldn't have though. O'Neal is a PF, isn't he? Seemed like you brought a few of those, could have replaced Boozer though, even if he wasn't all that bad in at least one game I saw.

I really can't remember LeBron playing at all, but if he played good... It was weird he didn't feature more, as Team USA seemed to lack guards.

In an interview I saw Anthony seemd very keen on going, didn't he really want to go?

I've been thinking of opening a basketball thread, I will tomorrow.

What do you think NBA stands for in the other sports section?

"Nigerian Badminton Association"?

Now, if you really had some balls, THAT is the thread you should open.

That game is pure garbage compared to EA Sports NHL series. But this year I'm rather sad because there might not be a season. Stupid focking collective bargining agreement. :groan:

Look Andy, the game is 19.99.

Its a damn good game for that price.

And BTW, NFL2K5 is actually better than Madden this year.

Price cut or no price cut. take it from me,man. I've been playing football games since Tecmo bowl on the NES back in 1987. And don't say that you have as well, because you were 1 at the time. :D

goddammit, I'm old.
