Sheva has been incredible in both form and peak these past few seasons and started off well in his debut season..that said, it took a good while to create a team year after year that could compliment his skill i.e. Pirlo, Kaka, Cafu: passing..Seedorf: support. Inzaghi being able to pick up where Sheva missed or \'wasn\'t\'.... without getting in the way: I\'m sure he realizes that it MAY take time to adapt and reach the level he was at with Milan..I\'m also sure he will score a sh*tload of goals because the EPL defense is ..well the EPL defense...that said, if he thought Ancelotti was tough wait till he meets Mourniho and I wonder how he will take to not being the fan favorite behind the likes of Terry, Lampard, Cole...homegrown lads. I don\'t think he will EVER have at Chelsea what he had at Milan..I speak of the whole nine yards but whatever its is wife\'s decision and he has to live with it.
i agree with that. my point is that i just cannot see chelsea failing with the team they are building. people compare them to real madrid, which is nonsense. madrid bought superstars to fit the galactico bill while chelsea are buying players who can be useful and have the best manager in the world at the moment. sheva may not play the same role he did in milan, but chelsea will be the team to be for at least 3 years now. wont be surprised if its them replacing milan in the semis from now on.
I\'m not one of those fans that dismisses his contribution and talent because of this move...he has been amazing for us and then some but he will not be uttered with the same sentence as MVB ... he could have been
that i agree with as well. i would\'ve stayed only to become a legend, and sheva was well on his way for that. at chelsea he will be one between the many, and though its more or less guaranteed titles, he will regret the move few years later, knowing that chelsea will replace him 2 years later.

while i dont agree with his choice, i understand why he chose to leave

Zambrotta out...Nesta out...Gattuso out. GREAT START Add in a "delicate" possibly out of form Totti ... players carrying the weight of the scandal on their shoulders...half the team uncertain where they will play next year...

People call it excuses I call it "sh*t out of luck" as they would in Raleigh, NC: the first stop on the shitbird express :pint:

Actually, and you may call me crazy, but this adversity sounds like the perfect recipe for World Cup glory. Hail Italia, mo' fo's.

Dr. Agricola deserves prison time because he's an asshole, however thanks for juicing up our players and giving us those trophies.

Unfortunately that's a possibility, however personally I hope the pressure is too much for your boys and you'll falture against the States. You can beat Ghana and tie the Czechs, though.

...especially if Lippi has to field Materazzi at the back in place of Nesta. That could turn out to be rather comical for non-Azzurri fans. Could Totti's display against Denmark be surpassed by that dunderhead of a player?

A beautiful 50-yard lofted own goal perhaps?
No, the Matrix will have been shown Red long before he has the chance to shot at Buffon. However, since Juve plays better in 10 men, I'm hoping Italy can match that same determination.

    Where's Paul?!
I wonder if Paul was pissed off about receiving a card for posting "Peter Pan, Never Never Land" in the petition thread that requires signatures. He received a yellow and I was laughing my arse off.
