Good question. DP's been looking kind of slow and Totti isn't really fit yet. Besides I think a lot of the options would be just fine.
- DP with Camo behind the strikers ala vs Germany works well
- Totti behind two strikers, one of the strikers could ofcourse be DP.
- DP- Totti- Camoranesi behind a lone striker.

I think Lippi is leaning towards the last option, as he played them against the Swiss.
I'd go with the 3rd option. I'd only keep Pirlo out and put De Rossi in his place.

Madness! Pirlo is one of the last players who should be ommited, he's the one that gives shape to the team. I'd play De Rossi instead of Gatusso, in the '2nd option', as he'd offer more of a two-way balance from the left in that formation.

I disagree.

Sure Pirlo is class and he's one of the best when he's into his form. But he's somehow killing the game...since December and he's failing to performe with Milan. His deadly passes are superb but c'mon, Lippi shouldn't play him just because of his passes.

I think playing De Rossi and Rino together will secure Italy's midfield and will allow Zambo/Grosso to attack more and combine with Dp on the left while on the other hand Oddo with Camoranesi....Pushing from the flanks is very good not to forget having a tall forward like Toni.

My Problem with Pirlo is that he can't defend, run and no stamina If you ask me.

Tell that to the biatches that will inevitably ban me for something they think they saw in my "art".

I think anyone who'll be thinking of banning you will probably be playing with fire. I mean c'mon, It's Nick against the world thread, It's Pado's land no?

Pirlo has been one of the few to do well in the past friendlies for italy though, his spraying of passes is incredibly valuable. Besides, a player with deadly passes like that, I would play just because of his deadly passes.

.
Sure, that'd work as well.

Pirlo has improved immensly in his defensive abilities over the past 2 years actually. He's also tactically astute, which makes up for his lack of quick running.

Sheva has been incredible in both form and peak these past few seasons and started off well in his debut season..that said, it took a good while to create a team year after year that could compliment his skill i.e. Pirlo, Kaka, Cafu: passing..Seedorf: support. Inzaghi being able to pick up where Sheva missed or 'wasn't'.... without getting in the way: I'm sure he realizes that it MAY take time to adapt and reach the level he was at with Milan..I'm also sure he will score a sh*tload of goals because the EPL defense is ..well the EPL defense...that said, if he thought Ancelotti was tough wait till he meets Mourniho and I wonder how he will take to not being the fan favorite behind the likes of Terry, Lampard, Cole...homegrown lads. I don't think he will EVER have at Chelsea what he had at Milan..I speak of the whole nine yards but whatever its is wife's decision and he has to live with it.

I'm not one of those fans that dismisses his contribution and talent because of this move...he has been amazing for us and then some but he will not be uttered with the same sentence as MVB ... he could have been

Meh, I have driven that bridge......not better than the Tacoma Narrows Bridge in November of 1940, and yea, we all know what happened there.
Tacoma my ass. Any redneck bumpkin with three teeth in his head could tell you that bridge is the one that links Shitsburg, WV with Shitsville, OH - spanning the Ohio River. But, nice try Uncle Jed.

No sir, that bridge was the Silver Bridge, and on December 15,1967, the U.S. Highway 35 bridge connecting Point Pleasant, West Virginia and Kanauga, Ohio fell, killing 46 people.

Ok let chelsea buy everyone and set the standards of handing out 200k a week on wages you moron! thats my point. They are paying rediculous amount of money on wages etc. Moggi had no choice to do what he had to in the trnsfer market simply cos Juventus never spent big! or more that they never had the money. Were are going on about Moggi being thuggish etc..... But Most of the big clubs in Europe are doing the dirty behind closed doors simply to gain some kind of advantage its just natural. Moggi just got busted and your one of those guys on the bandwagon giving it mouth as usual. Arsenal are doing the dirty. Real are the kings of dirt. So dont try to be a smart alec here cos you aint nothing rudeboy! :disagree:

I agree Moggi did wrong and im not happy about it, but im sure he isnt the only one at it.
chelsea are just playing by the standarts that were set by man utd, real madrid and modest ourselves. though why i even bother... im just a moron anyway.

btw, you have a perfect gloryhunters sig. kudos!:toast: :toast:
