Oh my. Well you'll find silly people everywhere.

And to be fair, my american geography is shit. Im sure some americans could have a good laugh on me, I don't know my Iowa from my Ohios.
But that's a whole other matter. Knowing the differences between states is inconsequential compared to the differences between actual countries, despite the fact that Texas is perhaps bigger than a third of all the countries in the world. You cannot exactly expect me to name off all the different regions of Germany, for instance. I have a hard time laughing at you for not knowing such differences between states when I have friends who do not even know where Caracas is located.

You know what I hate? I hate how our dunderhead administration is going to waste three weeks of our time by trying to ban gay marriage outright. Who cares about the Avian Flu, Iraq, impending terrorist attacks, FEMA fucking around etc, and lets use this gay marriage ploy to garner hardcore Republican support which was lost because of the more important issues regarding our nation. Way to cover your ass, Georgie.
It's prep work for the coming midterm elections. Time for people to get out their pet trivial issue posturing on bizarre priorities like it's network TV sweeps week. (Funny that immigration suddenly has become this urgent issue out of nowhere?? 9/11, for example, was almost 4 years ago...)

All we need is some vociferous senatorial posturing over a lone brain-dead woman before they pull the plug and the circus will be complete.

My only hope is that voters are as cynical as I am and find all this pet issue pandering stupid and a waste of government time and money.

I still need someone to tell me how Dan Brown is anti-christian really. I can see that he's not much of a fan of Opus Dei, and probably rightly so, but that doesn't make him anti-christian. Opus Dei, even though it's hardly what Brown made it out to be, is still fucked up anyway.
Not all Opus Dei are as extreme as the ones in the movie. I have a friend who's family is Opus Dei, they are a little extreme, in the sense that they won't do anything on Sundays; they'll spend time at home with each other, they won't do anything for like two weeks during Christmas. They have a long mass, which is in latin.

Andy: Middlesbrough signed Oguchi today.
Is that official?

Oguchi is a good defender, but he's a bit hot-headed. In the end his suspensions and expulsions costed more points than he won for them.

However, he isn't short on talent. Class defender

Actually, Brown states at the begining of the book, if you read it, "All descriptions of artwork, architecture, documents, and secret rituals are accurate.

So, I think it is all he made it out to be.

BUT, I do not think Dan Brown is at all anti-Christian, I had heard from someone that he was actually a practicing Catholic, but I am not entirely sure of that.

Dan Brown is just a writer that decided to make a name for himself saying a lot of stuff that would cause peeps to talk bout it, writing crappy books n trying to be noam chomsky the 2nd. Although 99% of what he wrote is based on false data, peeps dont go out and investigate how truth it can be, since it can create polemic. thats all.
POINT is dan brown doesnt hate Opus Dei, nor does he has anything against christians, he was a christian for a very long time, i think he still is. I do agree with u when it comes to OD:agree: :agree:

No, he writes on factual subjects and events, he just has intertwined them into a fictional story. Don't mix up the two.

Also, if this is a crappy book, why have there been over 40 million copies sold?
