Thing is I'm studying history and Italian. So I'd probably be looking for a year in Italy in order to improve my Italian.
in that case, go for Roma, son. The most historical and Italian place in the world... Great city, already quite southern (that will change you from boring flanders), and the least one could say is that history has left some footprints there...

Gregger, DYK that in the next 20 years, there is a 25% chance the San Andreas fault will cause a 7.3 to 7.6 scale earthquake, and a 63% chance the Hayward fault line will rupture causing the same scale earthquake?

Dude, $300 billion projected if it is the same scale destruction as the 1906 earthquake.

Get out while you can!!!!!

Burke, Andy, Enron, this sunday, we will hopefully be crowned champions, and would hate to celebrate it alone. I think we should meet up somewhere and celebrate. I got my big Juve flag, and I definately want to sport it outside my window while I'm driving :D Too bad I'm not in Torino!

edit: Burke, can I trust you to get some Bengals? (aka flares) oh and we'll need a blow horn too :D

Sorry mate, after Wed I'll be six hours to the southwest, but Andy and Burke may still be around.

And is that really Chuck Norris?
My profile, and yes -- the photo is really Chuck Norris.

Greg, Gavin Newsom looks and talks like a big queer.
You're probably confusing him with Tom Ammiano. Gavin tends to date relatively hot chicks with long brown hair... like his latest squeeze, Sofia Milos. And last month, that bastard ate all the oysters in a restaurant just before I showed up to it!

They said a 50% chance of a monster quake along those faults in the next 30 years right after the 1989 7.0 magnitude blip, which I experienced just 2 months after moving here. We're now more than halfway into that projection.

TBH, I move to Kansas and I'm going to get hit with a friggin' asteroid. Or worse -- a tornado, like the one that destroyed my grade school when I was younger in Chicago.

There are safer places to live. But then there would be no cities and we'd all live in mud huts spread across Saskatchewan, fapping ourselves until the next insect comes by to eat.

Not sure actually, all I know is that they are opening for Yngwie Malmsteen.

I never heard of them but I guess they are a pretty popular rock american group.
