More conversations have been released one of which has Moggi making suggestions that Udinese should be sanctioned on the field by the officials...Udinese did get a nice number of yellow cards that game and the next game was against Juve ...

The friendlies my naive chimp chumps are only the beginning. If Don Moggi requested a certain official for a friendly it is scary to think what he requested when something was on the line.

Personally I think Serie A fans should protest and stop watching and/or going to the games altogether...at this point I don't care WHO does it but when scandal after scandal arises without even so much as a slap on the wrist there is really no point in watching the game...if at the end of the day the game is decided by friends in high places rather than the talent of the players then its time to move on.

Pado, I left you a message at your office to call me, I wanted to talk to you about my almost going to JAIL.

    Holla back.

PS - Jenna saw what you said and was thoroughly disgusted. It took her back in time so far she was wondering if she had suffrage yet.
I called you back on that mobile number you left, but you were unavailable.

Tell Jenna she should be flattered -- I only eat the best.

I'd agree, but Nick, you have to remember that at this point at time there's no hard evidence available. And even then it's hard to determine what is and what isn't fake in football. Any paid football, and that goes as far to the league I'm playing in, brings some sort of corruption. An example? We lost our two last games so we would definitely not go up, but another team would, simply because we don't have to budget to be in a national division. According to the rules that's forging a competition.

Still, if it comes out we really did bought games, I want us to be put in Serie B. I won't stop supporting Juventus, but as a football player I find acts like that inexcusable. Not to mention how disrespectful it is to those (including me) who pay a lot of money in order to be able to watch games.

Ahahaha, my silly little Beauty School Drop-out. You see, there is a little thing called THE LAW. And, the Law does not consider what might have happened and what could have happened, it considers what DID happen. Lucky for you, as we all might ask what if the President of a large club, say Mr. Galliani, were also to become president of the Serie A, and what if he had to have conversations with the director of referees in the course of either job?? WHAT IF? Oh wait, I forgot, that is the reality and it has to occur every day or no matches could be played.

There's talk that Juve management may have had enough of the dicey associations -- whether they are founded or not -- and Moggi may move on in the offseason.

My belief? If it wasn't Juve and instead some other squad with 28 Scudetti, the names would change but many of the stories would be the same.

Not to diminish the importance of establishing the bianconeri as worthy and proper, but today I once again came across video of the 2003 CL semi-finals against Real Madrid. Watching it again, it's amazing to think how far away this current squad is from that one. It's just hard for me to get worked up over two-year-old phone calls suggesting referee choices for friendlies when there's that much work to be done elsewhere.
They're pretty much making it sound as if it's a certainty Moggi will leave. Giraudo will probably quit Juventus as well. Perhaps not a bad idea as it's clear we need a more pure images.

You're obviously right about the last part.

I think we're all smart enough to realise Juventus aren't the only ones who are fixing games.

I don't think anyone is fixing games, except those shady singapore-based gambling operations, perhaps.
Well, it turned out pretty much the entire Belgian competition was a scam because of them :D.

Perhaps "influencing" is a better word than "fixing" in this specific situation. I actually have believed for a very long time both Milan and Juventus use the power they have off the field to influence results on it.

Which obviously isn't right, but who's really able to do anything about it?

What the fuck. Here are the transcripts of the Moggi tapes.

    http://www.goal.com/en/articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=46244

    Moggi: Hello
Pairetto: Hey there, I know you forgot all about me, but I didn’t.
    Moggi: Come on…
Pairetto: I placed a great referee for the Amsterdam match.
    Moggi: Who?
    Pairetto: Meier
    Moggi: Great!
Pairetto: You see that I still think about you, even though you don’t anymore…
Moggi: Don’t start, now you’ll see, when I’m back, that I didn't forget you.

    :howler: Jesus Christ.

If all this stuff is seriously true, we should be demoted to Serie B and Moggi should be hanged from the support beams of the Delle Alpi. This is absolutely disgusting and I hope sanctions are indeed taken against us if Moggi is proven to have influenced refereeing choices that could have perhaps skewed results. And even if nothing becomes of this I want Moggi's resignation anyway and the Triade to be disbanded. I hate to say it, however where there is smoke there is fire and Moggi just looks more and more like a scumbag to me. With Capello totally fucking our side over, and with Giraudo and now these allegations against Moggi, Juventus seriously needs changes and we need them fast. Discard of all those disgusting individuals, please.

All this is bullshit. Clearly people are readying wayyy to much between the lines. First of all, you really think that they're all so stupid to be talking on tapped phones?? Secondly, what? they don't have cell phones? And, how did this get leaked to the media? And, what a coinsidance, every year something anti-juve comes out, it's become a fucking tradition now, we should all be used and immune to this by now.
Pathetic bastards. Vaffanculi all of 'em!!

    FORZA JUVENTUS E FORZA MOGGI!
