Nick, you talk like the fans turned against Juve early in the match. I don't think this happened until we were down to 10 men and decided to quit playing, which was in the last 13 minutes of the match. It's just frustration. We have now failed to score or even get off a decent shot in the last three matches. Additionally, we play such a drab and bleak style of football that we seem even uglier than Camilla if we fail to score.

Pado, it's been three straight CLs where we have gone out with a clean sheet on our home turf. No wonder why the fans are frustrated.

Hey -- I have an idea for the offseason. Instead of acquiring a playmaker to feed the ball forward to our strikers, how about another defensive midfielder?! :rolleyes2

Swagger - was there any difference between the likes of Blasi, Tacchinardi, Giannichedda, Emerson, Vieira, Davids, Fabian O'Neil? We just take these talented players and turn them into highway pylons that only serve to break up play. Each one was an offensive star before entering the Juve Gulag system of bleak football.

Pado..maybe I'm just comparing the crowd with San Siro where Milan had 70,000 supporters (about 10k for Lyon) and the place was behind the team even when they were 3 minutes to elimination ...
then again the situation was different: 1 goal was all we needed and Juve needed 2 just to tie it up...

That said, Delle Alpi should have been sold out...would have pumped the team up a bit more. A loud and full crowd at night is simply the best motivator for the home team...

Hard to believe these are the same fans that are supporters of a team that have won 4 scudetto's in the last 5 years...

P.S. DIGGING your avatar Pado..let me guess:

    DON'T CRY FOR ME JUVENTINA

No surprise then that Juve is still interested in Ambrosini...true.

Vinny what do you think of these 2formations.....

    --------------Buffon--------------------
    Oddo-Thuram-Cannavaro-Zambrotta
    -------------Emerson-----------------
    --------Gerrard-Vieira---------------
    ------------Riquelme----------------
    --------Trezeguet-Del Piero-----------

    OR

    ------------Buffon-------------------
    Oddo--Chivu--Canna--Zambrotta
    -----------Emerson-----------
    C.Ronaldo----------Maresca
    ------------Mutu-----------
    --------Trez----Dp

I think the second formation has a better chance of becoming a reality

and since it isnt a 4-4-2, that means we have to get rid of CRAPello

Yeah - the arrogance to believe some of these players are attainable and they would swap their surroundings for Turin. :disagree:

Actually, all the talk of Riquelme has made me very dizzy...but I have the answer and a much more realistic one: Sergio Aguero. He would be the cheaper, low-maintenance version. Although at 17 a very risky move...but similar to what Milan did with Kaka? He's definitely attainable; €15m and Bayern currently lead the race to sign him. I'd have to say Bayern are probably the more attractive option as there is a spot available for him to move into, the number of South-American players already at Bayern and every top team in Germany plays with a play-maker. That said with the right change in mentality Juve would easily be more appealing.
    Hes going to Liverpool.

Or even Appiah, for example. Watching that guy in the Olympics for the Ghana NT was like, "Who is that guy?!"
