Of course I'm obviously joking when I say UEFA should hand them the trophy because anything is possible in football. However, from what we have seen this season and the way Barcelona plays the game, nobody is more deserving than them for the trophy in my opinion.
That said, the last time Madrid won the CL was the last time I saw the most deserving team win the cup.

well i give credit to barcelona defens, but i am not exactly sure about their gk valdes, he does make mistakes, and can loose his head, and against gila/sheva/pippo, well anything is possible. I think milan is not anymore good/known about their defens, they do make mistakes more, but they seem to score always and sometimes very late moments, so i still think in barcelona-milan match, both can win.

Therein lies the rub.

Though I think Liverpool and Porto certainly played to the level deserving of their trophies (same for Greece in Euro 2004), the fact was that all of them were hardly the squads who would be remembered as championship-caliber clubs.

Oh come Greg,Liverpool we not worthy of their CL win,if u mean the final then by all means yes but they were not impressive coming from the group stages & playing against Juve & Chelsea.

So beating Juve and Chelsea isn't impressive?

Anyway Liverpool won away against West Brom today with Fowler and Ciss scoring.

Not the way they did it E!

what do u think the chances of pool gaining ground on manure & taking second spot?
Id say it is possible. Liverpool has a very easy schedule to finish the season and witht the current form the player have had, especially Cisse and Xabi, there is a good chance to pick up some ground. But who knows. I sure hope we can smack the Mancs down to third.

pool should concentrate its efforts on the FA cup; no way they catch Man U
Thats our main goal this season but with the way our schedule finishes out if the Mancs mess up we could "accidentally" end up in second.

actually 2nd spot is rather important for pool coz reallt the only reason why they have fallen behind this season is the fact that their key players like stevie g were overplayed & had to get some much needed rest.next year will be pool's year in the epl:agree:
