You knew what you got with Capello...his lack of International Success at Milan and Roma was evident...his ability to win games by the slighest of margins and lack of entertaining attack has cost him in Europe...so has his arrogance (notably the calmo calmo hand signal to Moggi after the first 1-0 loss to Liverpool). Juve's 2 CL titles speak volumes about its European record...they have an ability to come up big against small teams and an inability to come up big in the one BIG game ...

he insulted other members. juve kosova, snoop and even dominic. you have to admit that vinni has a problem controlling himself when others disagree with him.

calling people "fucking retards" just because they dont think capello is half bad isnt right. even under mr. matusiak vin was close to a ban several times and there were no temp bans back in the day. go figure. the ban was deserved, vinni goes a little too far quite often. so do other but not to that proportions.

Is this the reason? A simple play of words in which he went on for paragraphs and paragraphs...post after post on how and why he thinks he is over-rated, etc. Then followed by referring to him as Crapello.
Given the fact that he went on at length as to why he is not suitable, etc. I think its fair to say that he CRICIZED Capello more than insulted him.

I have made FAR worse comments about Juve players and never gotten so much as a private message..
Burke has made remarks that would make Martin Lawrence blush about Juve players and never even got a glance..
Vinman who goes against the 'tide of pigeons' in the games thread constantly criticizes the team despite their success and is hammered for it gets banned for using the term 'Crapello'.

like I said I don't exactly know the full story but from what I gather the appropriate warnings were given before the temp ban. Calling dp overrated is a simple footballing opinion, there's just a way of posting criticism that oesn't offend.

ie "capello is a crap coach imo" vs "crapello made some mistakes in this game" - its a needless play on words insulting juve staff. I know it looks trivial but rules are rules.

As far as the hypocritical moderation angle goes, you're all probably right, but its hard to tow one line all the time and many offensive posts will be missed completely by the mods. What can you do, its a hard job!
