What makes a league truly exciting to the individual viewer, IMO, is having passion for one club (and a healthy hatred for another). So, as a Juve fan, I don't care about any teams in England, so I would not find the games as exciting as the Serie A. However, I do enjoy watching some of it, but the quality seems a bit inferior to Serie A. But, playing in Europe the English based clubs do not seem inferior to their counterparts in Italy and Spain.

Nobody denied that the EPL can be more exciting, nor did anybody claim that EPL is worse because it's different. We said that the quality of the teams is inferior to those in other leagues, because the standard of the defence is sucky, and the tactics are one-dimensional. I watch a lot of English football, because that's basically all we get over here, so I'm not being xenophobic here.
