I have maintained all season long that Milan has yet to impress me like last season...they never found their rhtym and pace for more than 3 games...that said. They did display that dominating style in the second half while Inter scored on set pieces like most others do against us. That said..
two of those goals came from the most terrible calls of the season....on that note this was probably the worse case of officiating in Serie A this season..for both sides. Messina was too harsh at times and then extremely lenient at others.
How anyone could watch this game and say Inter deserved the win is beyond me. Inter has no style, no chemistry and no heart. We all know that despite this win they will lose big or tie the next few games. They are led by a coach who believes his own press and by a President who blames his failures on everyone else.
P.S. I love the Ancelotti comments. I also love how Capello is suddendly the Messiah of football. Guess what....we went through this about 12 years ago and if some of you were old enough to remember it was not a 12 game streak but we were NOT BEATEN IN TWO YEARS...
that said we also lost 3 CL titles (then European Cup) and Intercont. titles thanks to Capello. You will learn that Capello in Italy and Capello in EUROPE is night and day (actually I believe you already have).
Ancelotti has been at the helm for three full seasons. In that time he has won us a scudetto, a CL title ..kept us in the scudetto race for the other two seasons and brought us to the CL final the other....
A failure?? He has accomplished more than Mourinho has at Chelsea yet he is branded crap..
    what logic.

Good game tonight, Pado. One short-term retard team beat a perennial retard team, deservedly I might add. Rogers should be given an award for his ingenious personal foul.

The ineptness just keeps getting more and more extensive for the Lions.

Was it NFL or the Special Olympics? I wasn't too sure.

Strangely enough, Interisti were making the same case when they were on the opposite end of the results in Derby Della Madonnini of recent years..

Well, that goes without saying really. If Capello cannot take us to the Semi-finals of this year's tournament, it will be considered a failure by me. With the squad we have at the moment we should win the Champions League one year or another..

Ancelotti has been at the helm for three full seasons. In that time he has won us a scudetto, a CL title ..kept us in the scudetto race for the other two seasons and brought us to the CL final the other....

Erm, Mourinho has only been at Chelsea for a year and a half, Nick. And I would still have to say Jose is quite superior to Carlo Ancelotti for several, obvious reasons. Personally I believe Milan's success in recent years has more to do with the players than tactical genius, but that's another story..

Don't get me wrong, Nick. I think Milan is still a quality club capable of challenging the best of them for the title. You don't win 8 in a row for nothing.

But IMO, Carlo is more in the vein of the traditional coach (the most common kind) that adds little value to the team. I think Milan is capable of doing at least as well without him -- and that includes the year they won the CL. And Milan is a club that, IMO, deserves better. When I have to pick someone to fault for their failure to take lesser clubs seriously enough, to have the team mentally prepared, the coach is the first (though not only) one I have to blame.

Actually, it was a good game, considering the quality of those two teams. Thankfully my boys won, but you got screwed on the safety which would have handed you a 15-13 victory.

Gado was the man. He had an incredible night rushing, pitched the "safety" ball out of the end zone, and was the recipient of the idiotic foul that gave Green Bay the field position.

Andy, don't be so hard on Carletto. He did a quality job on the Juve bench, even though he didn't win anything. I respect him for coming in mid-season when Lippi walked away after completely fucking things up. Lippi made the mistake of saying "I won't be back next year and I will be coaching Inter" and then wonders why his team is so unmotivated they landed in the Intertoto Cup. I give much respect to Carlo.
