I filled the tank up in PA on Friday and it was $3.75 a gallon. Surprised you lot are paying less because Chicago usually gets hit hard with gas prices.

Yeah, exactly. My cousin lives on Lake Michigan, a few blocks away from Wrigley Field, and she just takes the El downtown everyday.
When I was there in June I-94 coming out of downtown was packed...even at 12:30 in the morning on a Saturday. Not to mention the toll booths around O'hare...that crap is just fvcking dumb.

About petrol prices; they were just raised to €1,60 per liter here in Holland (that's US$7.58 per gallon) and my parents are now officially looking if it's worth it to sell the car. Once again the poor have to give in to the suffocating pressure of capitalism
