Well, before the night of the match i found out what hotel Chelsea was staying at, the Mandarin in DC, and we decided to call the hotel up. We contacted the front desk and asked "is there a Jose Mourinho staying at the hotel?" Of course after looking the attendant said yes and I left a message saying I was Freddy Adu's agent and gave my cell number. Burke called and asked if there was a Joe Cole staying at the hotel, and after first replying no the attendant said "oh yes we have both a Joe and Charlton Cole staying at the hotel. Burke was patched through to Joe Cole's room and left a very threatening message..."If you touch Freddy Adu, I will slit your throat" among other things about catching him in bed with Glen Johnson.

After the match we found where the Chelsea bus was located and were one of the first to stand around the gates protecting the bus. First Carlo Cudicini came out of the locker room and was nice enough to sign autographs. Both Burke and I got his. Then Didier Drogba came out to sign, then Gudjohnson and SWP, and finally we saw Joe Cole walk up. While Joey was signing autographs, Burke yelled out "Hey Joe, did you receive a threatening voice mail last night?" Just as Burke ended his question Joey looked over right at him and quickly said "was that you mate?" Burke replied with a smile "I don't know, was it?" and then Joey walked up to both of us. I got his signature and shook his hand, Burke was seemingly afraid and only shook his hand. But to think they actually received our messages is just crucial. :D

Then the big two Lampard and Terry walked up and we got their autographs and shook there hands. I said good luck to both of them unless they face Juventus.

Kinda funny that a Juventus and a Bayern supporter were hoarding all the signatures instead of the Chelsea fans behind us, but oh well. :D

Piss balloon would have been nice for Mourinho though

I actually thought the conversation with Burke, and the front desk attendant would have gone something like this-

Burke- hello, I am a friend of a guest staying at your hotel, his name is Jose Morinho, and I need to speak to him immediately, I'm calling from Holland, and this is an an emergency !!!!

Desk person- ooh !! ok sir, I'll transfer you immediately...who shall I say is calling ??

Burke- De Cock :D

I didn't say you were owned, but you failed to answer any questions that I posed and just kept saying "how does that prove anything?" I mean you already showed you do not respect other people's views on life and you always have to make the fact known, for some odd reason. Just as Nick said, you lack respect. It's clear as day as far as I'm concerned.
No, you've got that wrong again. I have the utmost respect for other people's views on life, I just happen to believe they are complete and utter tripe (where all religions are concerned) and believe the right to disagree/laugh off the stuff we are force fed about religion is everyone's. That thread wasn't about answering your questions, you made unfounded allegations and could not back them up, simple as that. Why should I have to answer your questions when it was already blatantly obvious you were simply carrying out a personal vendetta with no real evidence.

It's interesting that religion can be preached on our streets, drummed into us in our schools, cover our media, come and knock on our door and even govern our country. Yet we can't slam it, curse it or offend over it.

Fvck that, sure we can. I am offended when some idiot I don't know is shouting at me in the street, Im offended when someone is trying to get into my home when I don't want him there, I was offended when I saw people beaten shitless in ireland for religion. I'm offended when people call my friend a 'fenion bastard' etc. So yep, Andrew can be offended when I take a piss on his books. That's how it works.

Though here's your religion Andrew, enjoy:

Lacks respect? Funny I find him to be one of the most respectful members here. Perhaps Nick likes to think he is owed respect here, likes to think of himself as something. But fact is, when it comes down to it, he just talks about as much shit as you. All bullshit blown completely out of proporation. Respect is something that is afforded, not commanded.

And yeah I'm sticking up for him because he's British. Yep, completely that.

It's all so predictable really and I'm already bored.

I really wanted to throw an Italian get no respect joke in there but maybe that's too much. :D

"Hear the word of the LORD, America, fag-enablers are worse than the fags themselves, and will be punished in the everlasting lake of fire!"

"You telling these miserable, Hell-bound, bath house-wallowing, anal-copulating fags that God loves them!? You have bats in the belfry!"

"Not only is homosexuality a sin, but anyone who supports fags is just as guilty as they are. You are both worthy of death."

- Fred Phelps (Westboro Baptist Church)
"AIDS is a racial disease of Jews and Niggers, and fortunately it is wiping out the queers. I guess God hates queers for several reasons. There is one big reason to be against queers and that is because every time some white boy is seduced by a queer into becoming a queer, means his white bloodline has run out."

- J. B. Stoner (White Supremacist)
:frown:

"I'm an old-fashioned woman. Men should take care of women, and if men were taking care of women today, we wouldn't have to vote."

- Kay O'Connor (Kansas Senate Republican)
Oh that's gorgeous, that is. :sigh:

"Better a pink bottom than a black soul."*

*Roloff opened a chain of homes for "wayward" youth in the state of Texas; he was later jailed in 1973 and again in 1975 for child abuse due to the punitive punishment techniques used in his homes. He would have been finished had he not of been specifically given permision to re-open his homes by, you guested it, Governor George W Bush.

- Lester Roloff (Texas Homes for Wayward Youth)
Hmm... Food for thought in the very least.

"When lawlessness is abroad in the land, the same thing will happen here that happened in Nazi Germany. Many of those people involved with Adolph Hitler were Satanists, many of them were homosexuals – the two things seem to go together."

- Pat Robertson (Christian Coalition)
Woha wait a minute. Talk about a hasty conclusion.

Andy...Cool story. I'm surprised the hotel staff gave out that type of information but then again when they don't recognize a name they figure its not confidential. I once saw Alex Del Piero at the Beverly Hills Hotel ... he and his then girlfriend had waited 15 minutes to order a drink. The waiters were busy sucking up to 'Hollywood types' figuring he was a European tourist trying to get a glimpse of celebrities. :D

Did anyone ever call you back regarding Freddy??

Jae...no offense but I'm sick of responding to your posts. Your like the high school cheerleader still slinging sh*t at the Varsity QB because he left before sunrise...

Eric, what does that proves??? That intolerance to homosexuality is an atribute of many americans???

Yes it is. But Europe is about the same, if not worst. Probably Benelux and scandinavia are different, but Latin Europe is as old fashioned and retrograd as US....

lol I'm not even posting to you, no response is needed. I'm just talking about you. It's been well established that you are full of it. You have never, not even once, challenged me on anything I've posted. You have never addressed a single point raised against you. Not by me, not by Emma, not Zlatan, not by Tom, not by anyone. You are a smart guy but you really do have limits and those limits are politics and football. Stick with what you know. But what amuses me is that you think this kind of thing pulls you out of it.

Well it dosen't. That's just silly and it really doesn't mean a thing. Adding words together and making them caps doesn't win arguments. That's what children do when they can't logically explain why they want or need more cornflakes.

So i'll leave it as you know it. As you might say 'Big boys are talking, sit down' or something just as stupid as that :howler:

And it's YOU'RE, stop getting it wrong.

You would be wise not to underestimate the tolerant nature of Europeans compared to the rest of the world. As for what it proves; it proves that intolerant people seem to possess A LOT of power in the States, which, to me, is a cause for concern.

Oh, it is essential. Thankfully a small part of the American Taliban has been exposed in this thread. Am I just as bad as they are when I say "Kill every stinkin' one of those intollerant bastards. Cut off their heads and post them on sticks so the rest of the religious zealots will know they are not going to be allowed to live in my society"?

Have I dropped to their level?

While I have issues or problems with Zlatan ..for his sake, don't put him in the same category. My problem with you really began when you made a racist slur which you so innocently 'backpedalled' on. You tried to have us believe you were this tormented soul ruined by the big-dumb-jocks who pound on you only because deep down they can't be you and sat back with a 'tsk tsk' demeanor laughing at their childish view of the world.
Guess what....ever heard of the pot calling the kettle black??

    Jog on.....
