Basso... oh dear... ivan and csc have been kissing lances arse for the last 2 years... yet they still dont realise whats going on....

Ivan is a guy that is capable of competing if hes willing to lay it on the line... but hes scared and its as clear as day that bjarne isnt convinced by him.

What more do they need to show them its a one way street... time after time they help lance and get nothing back, yet they sttill do it...

Last year they saved lance and recieved empty promises of being helped to secure second... Of course lance took csc's help and then watched with a little smile as ivan slipped to 3rd...

Hopefully yesterday ivan may have realised that however many times he sucks on lances cock, he will get nothing back... Why because lance is a winner... he does what is required to get his victory...

After the help on saturday on sunday when discovery faultered... what did csc get in return... Oh yes ivan got a big slap on the road to courchevel...

Im not gonna get into it as it would take up far too much space and time...

Needless to say... watch a whole tour (several hours a day) and you will soon realise its 99% a team sport... the other 1% being time trials and luck....

No one in the past 20 years (since the advent of real training programs and organised teams) has won the tour without a team... Jus look at Berzin who at the time was the best cyclist on the planet and overwhelming favourite... made a few comments about his team and came no where...

Roche... Looking great and firm favourite ... had an argument with his team mates... quickly fell out of contention... theres plenty of examples....

Yes there are only a handful of riders that are capable of winning the tour... But without a team however good they are they will not win... and once you get to a certain level... the man who has the better team will 99.999% of the time win.. its the way of the sport

Even one day races are governed by the stronger teams... Though there is a little more space for an individual victory... but over 3 weeks... not a chance without a team

I am not here asking you for a long explanation, but can you briefly state some points on how does the team contribute in a sport that I always thought of as a solo sport.
