how? Barcelona to me is nothing special, whereas Paris is the greatest city I've seen.
Personally, I like spanish people more than french. The foods nice and the whole environment is really nice. There are places to go that are just in the shore so you kinda feel like at the beach

And most importantly, the city is full of Gaudi's things. The buildings he made are just beautiful

Paris is nice too, but its kinda like cliched if you know what I mean. You can go to the Arc of Triumph, Eiffel Tower, Versaille, Louvre, D Orsay, etc etc and bump to tourists your whole trip. In Barcelona youre in a big city but not neccesarily full of tourists surrounding you 24.7

I'm not a big fan of Gaudi, to me while being a great architect, I hate his color combinations. But on the whole Barcelona doesn't feel like a famous city to me, it's fairly low on monuments and really not an awful lot to see there. Whereas some people make it out to being a second Paris, it's nothing like that.

Are the people nicer? Maybe they are, I haven't really investigated that.

Yeah but isn't every big city like that? Barcelona is pretty packed with tourists, it may not be *as* congested but it would be hard to argue one would go there to avoid tourists. And I just think all that Paris has, the famous places, is what makes it what it is. But it's also more than that, it's also metropolitan, and that btw I didn't feel in Barcelona.

Paris is one of my favorite cities and an amazing place. But it is also so... well, sterile too. (e.g., it took the closing of a Citroen plant to be converted into a park where people can actually walk on the grass.)

City of Lights? Yes. A romantic city? Yes. But a city for romantics? Not really. One trip to Budapest and you'll see...

Yeah of course Paris is bigger than Barcelona and there is a lot of stuff to do but I just dont feel its as interesting as other cities
Paris is without a doubt one of the most cultural cities in the World and thats why so many people want to go and check it out for themselves... but I still think theres so much better things in Europe than just Paris

I just dont feel it as magical as some people make it out to be

Western Europe isn't very romantic as a whole really. MOdernisation and all that.

Like swaggie said, cities like Prague and Budapest have managed to keep more of their romance intact for some reason...

Budapest is dirty and bears the marks of WW 2. The people are cool though. Prague is a living dream in every aspect. Until you taste the food. Paris could very well be the most majestic city in the world. I found Marseille to be a poetic dirthole personally. Kind of like Naples with Algerian chavs instead of picciotti.

Budapest is most definitely covered in a layer or two of soot. And it not only has the marks of WWII, but it is in the process of removing the marks of communist rule.

But damn! The women there are hot, the people are friendly, and up and down the streets everyone seems to be having a love-in.

This isnt about me. Its about you. You are playing up the who am i thing. Infact apart from that, noone cares. You are posting to certain members trying to break into something.

Maybe you arent here to make an impact but noone is here to go unnoticed. Dont quote me and draw my attention when you dont know me or have nothing to say but a snide comment. Thats ignorant.

Take away those smilies, ignorant comments and what have you got?
What am I trying to break into? I dont need an impact-high, you do. Isnt that why you go around harassing people? Because your insecure? Your life isnt exciting enough as it is? Having family problems? Psychological issues?

Your cute though. I like how you argue, it shows a lack of self-awareness. A certain innocent childishness, devoid of REAL malice. As for quoting you, what you said was full of shit (no pun intended), and I felt like calling you out because you didnt show me any reason not to. You werent funny, or interesting, or amusing, you werent smart in ANY way, didnt have any talents, werent a good conversationalist, culturally unaware- basically, you had it coming. :D

And I wasnt trying to be ignorant- I was going for cute and sexy. rawrr

Good to know I turned you on ;)
