You have to remember, Suarez is a regular starter for Uruguay & he really doesn't have stiff competition. Now compare the Brazilian national team to the Uruguayan team, there's no comparison to the amount of talent at disposal to the national team coach. The only way for a young Brazilian player to get recognition & possible playing time for the Brazilian national team is to join a big name club in a strong league along with CL football, that will provide maximum exposure.

We can't offer that, people don't really wanna watch Serie A. The video & audio quality sucks, the english commentary sucks, not everybody understands Italian, so that commentary doesn't help & also there's fuck all positive media coverage for Serie A. The only chance we have to secure Neymar is if we guarantee first team football, along with Melo maintaining his place in the Brazil team because that means the coach would keep an eye on Juventus games. Sadly, it's not looking rosy for us at all.
Thanks for posting a really good answer to my question.

Drogba another Grosso? You make it sound as if Grosso used to be a world class player and he plays bad now only because he lost motivation.
I'll explain it for you alen.

Drogba, is a champion, one of the top 3 strikers in the world, no doubt. However, he is close to 33 years old and for a striker with his characteristics, he's past his best and soon serious decline will follow.

But mostly, he won much at chelsea, played many championsleague games including final and semi finals. Will he be motivated when he comes here ?

Grosso was a good player when he went to lyon, when he won the world cup. when he returned to italy for juventus, he was past his best and in serious decline, and totally lost his determination, motivation and ambition he once had.

The reason i compared to drogba, is because i wonder if drogba wouldnt go the same way, playing without motivation and determination, beeing a fraction of his former self because he'd play at a lower reputation team thats not in the championsleague.

I still don't understand how it's certain Lukaku will go to Chelsea now they got Torres?
I'm from belgium and i follow everything they mention about the competition in papers and sport.be (mucjh like chester probably)

Lukaku is value'd by anderlecht at 30 million euro.
He is a childhood chelsea fan, and his playstyle would definatly suit their systhem.
He likes the epl and wants to go only there.
His father blocks every transfer untill june because then he graduates from highschool.(there is a tv series about it even)
However, chelsea had been in alot of contacts with him, tried to buy him in januari, but were denied.
Abramoshit will spend 100mil euro of his own cash in chelsea transfers before the financial fair play rules kick in, they got plenty of budget left for transfers and lukaku as a backup of torrez seems the idea.

But hey, i would take him at juventus anytime, great player and fantastic potential

You'd say no to Drogba and Neymar and yes to Lukaku.

Remind me not to take your posts seriously from now on.

I didn't think his father would let him join a club where he'll get limited playing time? Unless he plays alongside Torres, Drogba would be a weird sale.

Drogba is 33 in march, on the way back, and likely not motivated + will ask stupid wages.
Neymar, might shine in spain for a while, then fade of to brazil.

Lukaku comes from a stable family, is tracked by all of europe, has an asking price set at 30 mil by anderlecht, and had allready rejected a chelsea offer of 25 million in januari.
If piet de visser says to buy him, he is good. if you disagree with that, then you disagree with the greatest scout in football, allow me to not take you serious from now on.

He is Belgian after all; it's not surprising to see him over-rate Lukaku, who is the best thing to come out of that country since French Fries and Praline chocolates.
We are a nice small country,we dont need recognition from other countries to feel good about ourselves.
But we got some fine beer, every tourist will agree on that.

Drogba will leave chelsea, and they dont got a forward that has lukaku's characteristics. + ancelotti likes to work with youngsters. if lukaku does well, he might just aswel bench torrez when he isnt delivering
