I have no idea how anyone can say Pepe is a better fullback than any fullback when the player hasn't even been fielded a handful of matches in the role. If this is a statistics course, you might as well drop the class.

We've seen Pepe play fullback. He has made impact plays. I've listed them. I've listed the times he's stopped Pato 1 on 1, stole the ball from Inzaghi at the corner flag. Was the only one to rush Ibra as he shot. Made a sliding tackle at midfield from behind the forward. Made some clearances inside the box.

This is all in his first match at fullback, on his left side, against Milan!
Do you have an idea how that sounds? You're making a fool out of yourself, really.

Pepe only played RB against Milan. Grygera has played there far more than that. Even by your non-sense logic, Grygera is still better than him because he has had more games than Pepe where he played good.

And Grygera is "miles better" defensively than Pepe? Someone said that. Grygera has a youtube compilation of his blunders.

Grygera is so much better defensively than Pepe at fullback that we can't even debate the topic?
I said that, and it's true. Feel free to prove that it's not though.

We can't, since one of the players being compared has only played 1 game in the mentioned position.

And this is without even talking about the offensive aspect of football in which fullbacks are integral to a team's attack.
I already explained you that. It's like when you play a defender as a winger. He'll defend better than attack.

i honestly dont care who he supports if hes putting balls in the net
Exactly, we need a damn striker cause Amauri is lets be honest, just bad! and Neymar is obviously a player given to much praise to early doesnt matter how good he is. His agent needs to start acting like his agent and stop worrying about his next big pay day. That attitude wont last in Europe and I am sure once he plays with a european side he will learn the mental part of the game or else im sure whoever signs him will ship him out sooner then Amauris next goal.

But it's not a statistics course Andy. It's possible to look at 2 players and judge who is better at a position based on their characteristics. Like Juve did with Zambrotta, how is this different?

But my main point is that Motta and Grygera are so poor that trying Pepe at fullback isn't an insane idea. Especially against small teams where we can use the added offense to secure the game.

We've obviously all decided Pepe is much better offensively than Grygera but you guys seem hung up on the difference between their defending. I've posted around 8 videos just from this year showing how terrible Grygera is defensively. Even if he's better defensively than Pepe, the difference is minute, since Grygera is already so poor. So why not add the offense to our squad?

Anyway, I won't argue here anymore. Forza Neymar!

I am with Mike on this one. I think Pepe can make a great fullback. I am also convinced certain people on this site have memory losses , but whats good about grygera is he keeps reminding them what he is made of.
...If this was a spelling competition in Czech, Grygera might as well win...

Seriously, who needs Badass Devil when we have Nick?
I think Nick's news are much more reliable than BD's and he's more fun.

Then again, it will be nice if Badass Devil makes a comeback so we can compare them "face to face". But I doubt he'll start posting even if he's reading us. He'll chicken out because he knows too that Nick is a better guru than him.
