if we cant get gilardino or torres, then just get one who scores alot of goals, as imo we need one, when we have zlatan and cassano to make alots of assissts and be a nightmare for any defence

Essien seems to be a very good player, and he reminds me of a younger Emerson, only better. He could be the best young defensive midfielder in the world.

Dunno bout Essien and Hleb, but that might be good. Never seen them play and its a real gambling IMO.

thats not a bad team at all David. It could easily be a normal 4-4-2 with rosicky being the attacking midfielder, nedved on the left and thuram and chiellini at full back.

Some opinions on these two questions please.

1. Do you believe Emerson can control the DM by himself OR would Capello ever allow him to?

2. With Nedved in the team, will Capello ever change tactics to not rely on his type of game so much?

I think Emerson can manage well, since he get some help from Rosicky.
I hope Capello will play Nedved in the middle, he is best used there. I think he will change tactics next season too this is just a normal 4-4-2 this season cuz he wants to get stability or something

and once he changes to something more attacking, then it will be unstable again. Emerson is able to control the midfield, but capello for some reason sees him as being good offensively. What i dont understand is that at Roma, he played with Emerson and another DM, as well as a playmaker in totti and a support striker in cassano. At juve he has totally elimanted the playmaker.

we do have olivera who can play that role. inexperienced yes, but the only way he will learn is if he plays. nedved can play in the hole again, juve at least scored goals when he was there.
