HAHAHAHA, fucking reading Hustini, it's like listening to John McClane crossed with John Rambo.

Man in my european eyes you sound like a madman that should be locked up in a mental institution for the safety of others.
If you paid attention to the actual debate and read how Hustini clarified his position, you'd note that esentially he'd do what a lot of us would do.

As for gun ownership, I do fundamentally disagree with him.

More control yeah, I got it.

I was refering to what he thinks of defending himself. It's like listening to a holywood movie monolog.

Compliment taken. An officer than can fly a helicopter with a bow and arrow with exploding tips.

I've been all over Europe. I fit in fine there but nice try though.

I think in this case in Belgium a person would be very likely to be prosecuted for illegal possession if such a thing happened. Especially because gun ownership is frowned upon anyway.
yeah, seems like he "was" going to but I think they took his gun and maybe gave him a small fine rather than press actual chargers. I can't find any updates on what actually happened though.

I think it would be entirely justified, in all connotations of the word, to charge him for illegal gun ownership. Everything else would be ridiculous though, not speaking from a legal perspective.

It's not really hard to fit in europe if you know english, not really an achievement. Actually no matter if you don't know english too, it's not hard fitting in europe at all. If you're not arab presumably :D

I think it would be right too. In this aspect the law is very clear. He owned a gun when he shouldn't have, so he should be convicted. His punishment would be light however, if he could demonstrate that he never hurt someone with the gun and in fact used it to protect someone. He would still be convicted though.

Getting a slap on the wrist is fine IMO, but actually being taken to court is another story I think. I can see the law saying, look, thanks for saving the kids life but we are still taking the gun and probably giving you a small fine for it. :D

No, there is a reason why lawyers plead insanity for their clients...because they can't tell the difference between fiction & reality.

And if you read my posts (all of them) I included Hollywood as part of the problem from the liberal point of view. Dems in Hollywood scream for gun control yet make movies like Die Hard. I'm not saying video games cause it, or rap music causes it, but combining them all among other social factors you might see different results.

Either you aren't reading my posts or selectively picking your topics to argue. I never said limit free speech I simply called out the hypocrites in Hollywood. They are as clear as day, sorta like Al Gore on climate change but having a 15 bedroom mansion and 4 SUV's parked in his garage.

Guns aren't the problem, I'd say its a combination of psychological with social factors.
Sorry, I didn't see the hollywood part. I find it funny that you view this as a democrat vs republican thing. as far as i know, the 2nd amendment hasn't changed and if they do call for banning guns, i believe it's mainly to appeal to certain demographics that they want on their side.

and why even bring up movies, music, and video games then? you don't think they cause it, but combined with other social factors they might. again, that's just a theory and it is not proven at all so i don't see how it makes anyone look like a hypocrite if they promote violent movies, music, and video games while wanting more regulation of guns.

i personally am on your side on the gun thing, i just disagree with your reasoning and calling democrats hypocrites. they are hypocrites just like the republicans but this is the least worthy thing to criticize them about.

That's all I said, that it was one of my theories. You are over complicating it.
