What a tragedy.

What sickens me as well is the fact that Trump and Hilary are already using this as an opportunity to politicize this and make it all about guns. No matter where you stand on gun control, the fact of the matter is - in the US, if you want a shotgun or automatic rifle, you can get one on the black market just as easily as it is for you to buy illicit drugs.

Obviously the FBI may need to lift its game but sadly, there isn't much you can do about these nut jobs.
How many AR 15s have you purchased on the black market?

Some common sense gun regulations may very well make access much tougher for guys like this and would make black market guns much more expensive than when they are legal. That wont end the problem of islamic terrorism though.
Yup.

Gun restrictions are still a no-brainer, especially for people on the fucking terrorist watchlist

So, you are on the FBI List but still you can go and buy Ar-15 without any consequences

Sounds like somebody dropped the ball somewhere. I could have sworn that these purchases are bumped up against a Homeland Security database.

BTW Speaking of FBI - Russian special force FSB (who are big suckers by themselves) has informed numerous times americans about Tsornaev brothers and their visits to Dagestan, but once again FBI were to busy to give a $#@! about it, and then Boston's marathon bombings has happened

Yeah, they're either pretty incompetent or something else.

Yup.

But he also held a security license as well. Not that it matters, but he would have found a way to gather up a similar arsenal, or just set fire to the place like that event that killed 80 or so in 1990.

All Americans should know by now that being on the terrorist watch list does not disqualify one from purchasing a fire arm. Boarding an airplane? Yes. Buying guns? No.

The NRA has lobbied this for years. It's stupid. Congress should definitely change it.

There was video released from the phone of a woman who died there (by her brother).

That said, the more this sounds like a self-hating gayboy.
You can internalize homophobia because your religion tells you that you are an abomination that deserves to be killed.

Fair enough, combine the data bases.

This guy was investigated three times, yet got off because he told the FBI someone made a remark against him. Looks like another case of political correctness.

Honestly, why would you want to buy an AR-15? Why do you need one of those? To Hunt? Give me a break. I can't believe you can get one of those in Florida without a licence quicker than you can get a handgun. Honestly, USA is f*cked up when it comes to that. That guy was probably not allowed to fly but could go out and buy that killing machine.

100% this.

Fucking NRA with this idea that people should be able to buy full-scale assault weapons. Let alone people on a no-fly list already. Yes, civilians need the ability to own AR-15s. :sergio:

And the arguments that people would just use other weapons to murder, or other methods... Yeah, that explains why America has a far higher murder rate than any first world country with strict gun control laws.

Sad this:
