After the impressive performance in the San Siro against Inter, the blackandwhites of Turin will travel to England to face Newcastle Utd in what should be a thoroughly entertaining Champions League fixture. Talk about the match right here...

We looked pretty good against Inter on Saturday night, while Newcastle were humbled 5-2 by Blackburn in their domestic league. I think Juve should be able to win this one quite comfortably, but we need to watch out for the attacking threat of Laurent Robert and Alan Shearer.

Prediction : Newcastle 1 Juventus 2

i think that Newcastle utd won't be so difficult for us to beat but remember that we are playing with a premier league team in which this kind of teams doesn't give up till the final whislte , but i assume that we can bring home all 3pts
Prediction : Newcastle utd 1 - Juventus 2

Apparently Birindelli wasn't all that bad against Inter, but I would drop him for Zambrotta, push Tudor into defence,as he wasn't very effective as a midfielder in the Derby D'Italia and Tacchinardi will take up the open spot in midfield.

------------------------------------Buffon
-----------------------------------Ferrara
-------------------Thuram------------------------Tudor
-----------------------Tacchinardi-------Davids
------Camoranesi-------------------------------------Zambrotta
-----------------------------------Nedved
--------------------Zalayeta-----------Del Piero

I'm really fond of this lineup, what do you guys think?

Great, except i would put in Iuliano for ferrara, and Trezegol for Zala
I included Ferrara because he was excellent against Inter, and his leadership could be a great asset to a 3 man's defence. As for Zala,I think he's better than Salas, and DV+Treze aren't 100% fit so...anyways,it could work either way.
