I don't think that we should be mocking too much, do you all. At least they try to get talent, whereas we have only bought pure trash for the last couple of years- all except one.

You and I can spout about this player and that player but there is still one big stumbling point and thats the manager Lippi

Lippi has been fantastic for us and we have been winning this and that but our football, quality wise has been shocking

Why cos Lippi would insist on using his faves all the time, like Montero, Ferrara, Conte and Tacchinardi at the expense of whatever talent you want to bring into the club

His greatest achievement since he got back would be to use Nedved as a kind of playmaker, now that has helped Nedved immensely and lifted his profile no end, but to the detriment of the team, we cannot play without him seemingly and when he is not on song we have no idea what to do

Nedved has never been able to bring teammates into the play, what he is good at is giving 120% and then shooting from distance and scoring thereby papering over our woeful display.

You have to ask if its good enough to have promising players just become hopeless cos of lack of opportunities or because the players they are playing with are not on similar wavelenghts

Who plays Tacchinardi , Conte and Appiah in any midfiled and expects to get anything from the forwards?

Ronaldinho was up 4 sale and i was reading trash like he is overrated or because he is Brazilian , he is not good enuff but look at him now

He was injured at Barcelona and where were they, he is back and they are 6 points behind Real madrid and have won 8 or 9 in a row, there are so many talented south American or European playmakers but no we go after the likes of Blasi, Appiah, Baiocco

Riquelme, was up for grabs, was misused by Van Gaal, we had the chance to go for him but no, he is not athletic, he does not run about like a headless chicken , hence he is not good enuff

Instead we go for ordinary joes like Camoranesi and drop Kaka because his name does not sound like Poggi

I totally envy Milan as they got Pancaro who is ordinary at best but is now playing such wonderful football, he is arguably the best left back in serieA right now, got Cafu for nothing while we were laughing about how old he is

He is older that Thuram but who is fitter?

Their defence is the bomb, thier midfield is oozing with class that even Gatusso is now so confident he is ball juggling

And when they wanna mess around they can bring on the so talented but totally inconsistent Serginho, they can bring on either Jon Dahl Tomasson or Inzaghi, or even Rui Costa
They are even thinking of getting Davids and all these from a manager we ridiculed and called a pig while he was our manager

I agree in some points and disagree in other ones....

I agree that Lippi should go. Juventus displayed a horrible football this season and we should get someone that bring a fresh mentality of offensive football, instead of the old method of having a really strong defense and a really good attack, and then play constantly long balls; because even though we won 2 scudetto's in a row, we've never displayed a nice football to watch...and a team like Juve should play a good football not a like a 2nd division team...

I also agree that Lippi does not count a lot with young players. Maresca and Miccoli should've been given more opportunities than what they had. Lippi should had more balls. It's pathetic seeing Conte playing when you had a Maresca on the bench or DP when he was lacking instead of Miccoli...not to mention Di Vaio when was in a good form, to bench him out. When Lippi counts with youngster is out of necessity...that is not good especially for a club that is making propaganda on the young talent players that they are purchasing...why do we need them if after we don't give them a chance...

I also I have to say sorry for overrating Ronaldinho. I was one of the people that thought that Ronaldinho was pretty useless. I eat my words. Since Maradona and R.Baggio I haven't see a more talented player. The brazilian is simply AMAZING!!!!! I'm following all his games and that was a big miss...just like Henry...

About Riquelme I do not agree. I think is not a good player for Europe. The guy is too slow and in Villareal is not doing nothing out of this world...so not good for Juve.

Now about the Juve purchases I think you are being a little bit to harsh. Buying someone with potential doesn't mean is going to be a star. Kaká is a good palyer no doubt and a fantastic purchase, but that is a very rare exception. Buying sometimes is a bet. Look at Rivaldo for example...eveybody thought Milan did the purchase of the year... look at what happen after....

Thuram is a great player and his not his fault if all Juventus sucks this year! Buffon is one of the best keepers in the world, but this season looks pretty ordinary. A bad season can happen. I also don't agree that Camoranesi is a bad player. I think is missused. Camo is a wing and with Lippi has too many defensive roles which limit is freshness in runinning up the side. I bet that if Del Neri would come to Juve would know how to use him better.

As for Ancelotti I agree that Juventus was a little bit too harsh in sacking him. The guy didn't do bad at all, but hey in a big team what counts are the trophies that you win and not the second spots... but don't forget that also because Ancelotti we lost Henry...because was missusing him...

So in conclusion I would say that we need a new coach that brings a fresh mentality just like Lippi did few years ago when he was called to lead Juventus for his first time.
My fav choice would be Del Neri. A coach that has personality, and his not afraid playing youngsters and has an offesnive football mentality. I think he would do really good.

i dont believe we need a new coach, mainly because lippi is hugely successfull with us, jus this year his tranfer scheme went a bit tits up....unless he want to leave then dont replace him.

If we did imo Didier would be very very interesting tho mancio and del neri are pretty good.

We havent bought a young sensational figured head in terms of attacking for a while, the nearest is miccoli, so we either buy and new one or we let miccoli start. DP needs to get his act together. Trez needs to sort his injuries out. We have needed new midfielders and defender for ages, so i think we should purchase the likes of mexes and ferari but also maybe a diego and jank

i also think Lippi should stay, after all he has been good for us over the years and only this year has it gone all bad for Juve. The quicker this season finishes the better. So we can start rebuilding Juve (mainly the defence). bringing in a new manager is always a risk and one we dont need to take, that is if Lippi will stay and not leave for the national team but if so then i would like to see Deschamps in charge of this great team. He's still young and may not have much experiance but look how well he's done for Monaco. plus i always liked him as a player

Ha, too small!?! D'Allesandro plays in the German Bundileiga. Have you ever watched them play? Germany is a tough league to play in, just as hard on the body as Serie A. Just look at the German NT. Players like Jancker, Bierhoff, Zickler, Ballack, Lucio, Nowotny, and Worns all are or were some of the most physical players in all of Europe. Don't tell me that he is too small. Miccoli is small, does he suck? Del Piero is small, what about him?

And during the game I watched he was making some great one or two touch passes. He is a great young playmaker.:thumb:

D'Ales is a great potential........and about riquelme.....hes even better.....but Villareal(plays well this season) depends on SonnyAnderson...only recognized goalscorer....but Riq will become better,I would bet on that

Forza Juve

I think one common fact to all our opinions is that Juve need a change. Maybe not so much of a clearout of players, maybe some, but additions are needed. Lippi has been a great coach for Juventus and he has all my respect, but I think he has run out of tricks and we need someone else to take hold of the team. This job requires a knowledge of football that is hard to find. Lippi certainly had it, and I stress, had it. The possible succesors to Lippi are of course Prandelli, Del Neri, or former Juve stalwart Deschamps. In my opinion I would think Deschamps would be the best pick for Juve since he has played here and won many things. I know many people are not too sure of his abilities, but if Deschamps can guide Monaco past Real Madrid in this season's Uefa C.L., I think he has the potential to manage Juve. Del Neri is also good, but I wonder if he can manage such a great team in Juve because he has always coached the underdog team. He also has no European experiance. Del Neri might find that dealing with a team that is supossed to win might be too much of a challenge. I must say that I like how he plays attacking football though. Prandelli, I do not know too much about him but since he is from Parma, like Ancellotti, he could be good.

And for the rest of the changes.....

Juve will probably get Jankulovski in the summer, which will help add pace and depth to the midfield. The changes will not end there. Mexes of Ferrari will be bought to help the defence, plus some ofadditions back there. In midfield I think it is obvious that we need more of a playmaker. Hopefully Diego, Aimar, or D'Alessandro will be bought to add passing, control, style, flow, imagination, and everything else Juve is lacking in midfield. No offense to Nedved, he is awesome but he is not the best passer of most creative player. Someone like a D'Alessandro who has creativity will turn the team into a real threat attacking. If Trezeguet leaves, what is probably going to happen, a replacement is going to be found and bought. The two candidates that are likely to come are Ibrahimovic and Cavenaghi. I would want the fromer of the two because he is a prototypical forward and he is from Ajax.

I know that everyone is disapointed in this season, but I mind you that Juve are a great team, but even the greatest teams don't win something every year. I bet you there will be another trophy in the Juve case after next season, I can almost assure you!

A playmaker is not needed. Just someone who can add creativity to the squad. Someone who comes from the bench and can be a winner with just one pass.

Aimar is too expensive.

Diego, well he is good. I would take him, but only in two years. He is too young at the moment.

denco,i don't think you should look into ancelotti's supposed success at milan,he doesn't have half as much power and doesn't make as many decisions as other managers.

berlusconi actually chooses the formation for every match,i doubt ancelotti was totally responsible for kaka,pancaro,cafu and potentially davids' transfers
