oh please, how much would it exactly cost you to run this place for a year?

And why would you buy this place if you cant maintain it?

fucking scam!
I had to pay from my own pocket. The dollar/rand exchange is 8:1.Also the south african revenue service is quite strict to control money leaving the country because of money laundering. Also i had to pay my friggin lawyer to complete tis transaction with Marty. There payments that Marty had lapsed & I had to cover it.

As i said to Andries,it would be a loss to have you leave but your a grown adult & you can come to your own conclusion.

You paid more than 160 000 dollars?

Yeah right. It's ridiculous. I wouldn't pay even if it sounded legit anyway.
Yes.Anyway what do you know about doing something for somebody other than yourself?

I understand if one was atleast at first asking for generous small donations for those who like to help out (seen similar scenarios like this happen elsewhere, server fees aint small stuff, so whoever taking this one deserves kudos). But directly announce this news and then demand money or you wont post is something entirely else :shifty:
I dont know what else to say.Matbe i should have just blown my money on booze & strippers.

What? You guys should pay me for posting here.
Sure.

Yes. And I know what this looks like. This is probably some sort of joke though.
Your behaviour is a joke, honestly. You say you dont care about this forum but yet your protesting as if Robert Mugabe took over Belgium.

Byrone obviously bought the forum and thinks he can make a good buck out of it. Hell, perhaps that might even be true, but I'm not helping him.
I agree with you this is rather iffy if its really to be like this, that its obligatory, instead of optional donations. But I read all of your posts, and I dont see one single "Thank you Byrone for keeping this forum afloat" from you, even if the new direction of is bit iffy, that in itself deserves kudos  Its no small thing.

I didn't say I didn't care. I said I wouldn't pay. And in a way Mugabe has taken over Belgium. It's just as shocking, just as unexpected and just as wrong. There were better options. And no, you did not spend 160 000 dollars. If you did spend 160 000 dollars, you're a moron and Marty's a very happy man. Yes, you should have blown your money on booze and strippers and no, I do not wander out in the world every day buying internet forums. You're 100% right on that one.

Ow wait.

So it's not just the 20 dollars.

No, first I pay 20 dollars, then I get banned for five weeks and then I thank Byrone for keeping the forum afloat. That's the way it is now? Well FUCK that.

Well I'm pretty sure most folks here aren't gona pay. But I'm ready to migrate to another forum with everyone that was in Juventuz.
You are welcome to the Juventus forum of Xtratime.org *

We had a single owner, poster there who had bought the forum too, she saved it from ruin, kept it going for some years, did it on her own and didnt demand anything from anyone, like this. Later on it got too tough, she didnt have time etc. And she sold the site to a canadian company, did made some small changes, capatalistic cannucks especialized in sports forums. But in general the site stayed the same.

* Seven you are not, I like you, but no religious or politics talk allowed there, and I would be forced to ban you weekly because you just cant help yourself.

You talk like you already been banned. Self-perpuated behaviour, aint it?

And its not about the payment perse, but that Byrone has bought the forum NOW, means the reason you here able to post, and it seems, why its not down right now, is because he bought the site and is paying the fees for servers. Thats not a small thing (though its not 160k ofcourse). And that atleast deserve some kudos, that he is keeping the forum afloat.

He charges me 20 dollars for something I already had and I have to say thank you. That does not sound right. And you tell me, Osman, wouldn't I banned? Yes, I fucking would. After paying 20 dollars.

And why don't you tell us how much you paid for the forum, Byrone? We're not allowed to see the transaction? We're not allowed to know how much it costs to run the forum?

With the direction that he's taking, the forum will be anything but afloat when the reality bites his ass on his payment deadline.

I've been on this forum for about 6 years. I met a lot of great people here, and it's been a part of my life and taken up a good chunk of my time. There have been several major changes over the years, including the previous change of ownership to Martin, and I worried that the site would fall apart. If anything though, it's gotten better and more stable.

I think we shouldn't worry too much. B's a good guy and I trust that he's not doing this just to scam some money off us. I understand that some people are students/don't work, but 20 euro is really not that much if you think about it, and I'd be happy to pay it to keep this site going.

yeah dude, those little donations, i always see those. see i would pay for that shit cause ive been here for 4-5 years now.
Its a once off fee NOT a monthly fee.

I totally agree with you...im not gonna pay shit to be a member in this forum which is controlled by a stupid manyak who just happened to have some money to buy a forum..he thinks he's sheik mansour for god's sake!! i say fuck him i was already trying to leave this forum and i think im finally gonna have what i hoped for after this post :D

by the way there is an english-speaking forum for juventus supporters from all over the world i know its not that much but anyone who still believes that posting on forums shouldnt cost money is welcomed to this forum.

The forum's link: http://www.juveforum.com/forum/index.php?sid=44dafb5d0e97167994f80c1b493b7600
You i wouldnt ban,i wanna keep you around for fun. Also:

http://home.earthlink.net/~tonespotter/retard_prize.jpg

Your first good idea on this forum and very ironically it involves you leaving :D.
He's a retard,what do you expect?

It would be quite elaborate joke, no? Dont see it.

I just think this approach is shooting yourself in the foot a bit.
I wish it were a joke.

Byrone obviously bought the forum and thinks he can make a good buck out of it. Hell, perhaps that might even be true, but I'm not helping him.
How am i making a buck out of it? As you like to tell the muslims, prove it!

No offence B, you're one hell of a good guy, but Juventuz would turn into the laughing stock of worldwide football forums :sergio:
None taken Eddy.

No it wouldn't. No one would know about it.
You would try hack your way into the forum just to avoid paying $20!

And its my 600 post
today is my day...i can feel it :D bring the ban fellas!!:spliff:
Youre an idiot & youre staying right where you are.

They will dude..i'll make sure of that :D
Keep it up Jordan's biggest fuckup, keep it up.

On average I am banned three times a year and I'm expected to pay for that this year? :howler:

And what was the undisclosed amount? Was it really 160 000 dollars?
None of your business really,it was discussed with the other mods & they can vouch for me.

If you need quick bucks in case of emergency, you can start a Ban Seven pot, it would lack for generous givers.

But seriously, you couldnt ask first for donations, demanding money off the bat seems bit....faschist?
You wonder why i call you Osmanknowitall?

Well I'm pretty sure most folks here aren't gona pay. But I'm ready to migrate to another forum with everyone that was in Juventuz.
Im sorry to hear that Eddy, you will be missed.

So am I. All we need is a new forum it seems. It must be possible.
Youre a cheapo, you cant even pay a once off fee of $20 & you wann a start a new forum?:howler:
