Well yes that is true mate, can't agrue about it. But look it this way : they could be in some sort of problems and you can help or believe they are stealing 20$ from your pocket. Take it or leave it, they can't force you to pay. I could move to some other place but I won't and I can't donate. It's just not the same somewhere else.
I have no duty to take a chance on Byrone's motives. It should be his job to convince potential customers and I'm not planning to trust someone outside my legal realm with my money, regardless of how little it is.

Even if there are 11 587 members, there are many fewer than 8000 who are active.

- You won't get enough money from this deal to finance the alleged debts.
- The forum will lose most of its members.

And the site will die. You haven't thought this through properly, have you?
No it wont.As ive said this payment is merely a means to an end.Once i have a concrete agreement with the advertisers, the forum will return to normal in terms of non payment. If the payment structure goes through & i do srike the deal,i will refund every single paying member.

I have no duty to take a chance on Byrone's motives. It should be his job to convince potential customers and I'm not planning to trust someone outside my legal realm with my money, regardless of how little it is.

Atleast you make sense & you can validate your point withut acting like a jackass.

Well its not great news but if this is what it takes to keep the forum alive I'm in. Provided users with gay avatars still will be able to post here in the future Byrone? ;)

I dont have a problem paying this amount, 20 bucks is not that much tbh. Though one cant ignore asking why pay for something what you have gotten for free so far. Couldnt Juventuz forum get some sponsor or smth? Its a big forum, a lot of members. I know some forums have commercial adverts on top of the page.

But why did this happen so suddenly. 17 August is very soon. Are you sure you get the amount of money needed? What happens if there are people who are on a vacation who come back later? What happens if you dont get the right amount? Will the fee rise for those who already paid/pay later?

I think most current members will pay for this, but i am not sure about new potential members. Especially if they dont know what do they get for that money. Might as well just pay for the official JUVENTUS membership, they have a forum there as well i think.

One could argue and say i am already paying for this, cause i pay for my internet connection.

What happens if a member is banned? Or if a member stops posting for a while, but returns later (for example military services or smth like that). Basically is there some kind of expiration period if a members pays but doesnt post?

Also if money is involved, can you guarantee that the forum will never go down? Or can you give any guarantees at all. In the end its my choice if i pay or not, but i need some sort or guarantees/trust

Are we going to have to pay once every year?

And please, dont tell me the "goodies" what the members who pay, get are official JuventuZ cap. :cap: Actually why cant you say what are the goodies we get after paying? In the end i want to know what i am paying for.

Fair enough. If you pay,you help keep the forum afloat. As ive said quite a few times, ive signed a document of non disclosure.I cannot reveal those details.

Please read through my posts carefully.Your constantly repeating your questions

Where did you come up with 8000? There 11 587 users on this forum, when exactly did i give that exact figure?

Thats why i said, according to Seven. For a so called smart guy your maths really sucks.
Members list says 8272. And my maths are correct.

So here's the deal:

we give A LOT of money to Byrone. He may or he may not use this money for the forum. This may or may not be the amount needed to run the forum. He may or may not make changes to the forum. He may or may not ban you. In the case it all goes wrong, you may or may not see your money back. This may or may not be an annual fee.

This is what Byrone guarantees you people: ZILCH.

Well does God exist? You can't know everything but you can believe at least. And why would one buy some forum to ban you (not you in general) anyway?

Spot on. This is not a matter of money or personal trust but of common sense.

1. ) Im negotiating with new advertisers.
2. ) The web hoster is putting pressure as they have been owed for months.August 25th is their dealine for payment or else the forum gets cut.
3.) An e-mail explaining the entire situation will be sent out very soon.
4. ) Its a once off payment & im pretty sure that ill get things running smoothly again. The $20 fee will not increase & the money will be refunded once advertisers start paying.
5. ) Im rtying to get the web hoster to extend the payment deadline & if they do then everybody will be given a grace period.
6. ) I will announce the new & improved features once i have made agreements & signed the documents.
7. ) The banning scenario will be taken under revision as there are some flaws in place but if youre banned, you can come back once the ban expires.
8. ) I cant guarantee that the forum will never experience down times, thats impossible but once things have stabilized i will make an invest on upgrading certain things to improve the overall quality of the forum.
9. ) Its a once off fee.

This will be the last time i go over these points so read this carefully.(Not aimed specifically at you Stephan,im just getting alot of repetitive question.)

So far the ones who are willing to pay are like 15 members.
If Byrone had nothing to hide, he would tell us how much money it all costs. The way I see it he did not agree with Marty to not tell us about the monthly costs of the forum. The only reason he does not tell us, is that it's less than he makes it out to be. He wants to earn something here.
