Calciopoli: Juve verso la B
A rischio Lazio, Milan e Fiorentina
Le due squadre che rischiano maggiormente nello scandalo delle intercettazioni sono Juventus e Lazio. Dalle ultime novità di venerdì, è difficile che i bianconeri riescano ad evitare la retrocessione in serie B, con la revoca dello scudetto dell'anno scorso e (se lo conquisterà) quello di quest'anno. Situazione simile per i biancocelesti. Potrebbero cavarsela con una penalizzazione Milan e Fiorentina.
La classifica del campionato che terminerà domenica sarà pesantemente cambiata dalla giustizia sportiva, quando verranno emessi i verdetti sullo scandalo che sta investendo il mondo del calcio. La società più a rischio è, ovviamente, la Juventus. Il club di Torino potrebbe essere retrocessa in serie B (qualcuno parla addirittura di C1) ed è molto difficile che riesca ad evitare questa sanzione.
Illecito sportivo con responsabilità diretta e il problema scommesse, questi sono i reati a carico dei bianconeri. Ciò comporta la revoca dello scudetto conquistato nel 2004/05, il campionato sotto inchiesta, che non verrà assegnato a nessuna squadra e la retrocessione all'ultimo posto della stagione in corso, quindi con discesa in B con probabile penalizzazione da scontare nel campionato 2006/07. Un po' come è capitato al Genoa la scorsa estate.
Anche la posizione della Lazio è molto grave. Il coinvolgimento diretto (secondo le intercettazioni) del presidente Claudio Lotito nei giochi di potere rende la società punibile con le stesse sanzioni: retrocessione all'ultimo posto in classifica e penalizzazione di punti nella prossima stagione.
Situazione un po' più morbida per Milan e Fiorentina. I rossoneri possono evitare la responsabilità diretta, magari asserendo che era all'oscuro dell'operato di Meani, il dirigente indagato e cavarsela con una penalizzazione di punti nella classifica di quest'anno, in modo da essere escluso dalle coppe europee. Per quanto riguarda i viola, i legali possono puntare sulla vessazione. Se questa verrà dimostrata, allora anche i toscani potrebbero essere penalizzati, ma rimanere nella massima serie.
E la classifica? Se tutto verrà dimostrato, la giustizia sportiva potrebbe assegnare lo scudetto 2005/06 all'Inter con Roma, Chievo e Palermo in Champions League e la salvezza per almeno due delle retrocesse.

After the latest news it is hard to see how Juventus will avoid demotion to Serie B, with revoke of the Scudetto of last year (2004/2005) and of this year should they win it. The situation is the same for the Biancocelesti. Milan & Fiorentina could escape with less of a punishment.
The championship, that will come to an end on Sunday could be changed alot by the sporting justice court. After Sunday only, will the verdicts come. The club most at risk obviously is Juventus, the club of Turin could be relegated to Serie B (perhaps even C1) and at this moment in time, its very difficult to see how Juventus will avoid this sanction. Also they revocation of the Scudetto of 2004/2005 (to Inter i guess since Milan's involved as well?) and this season (also to Inter) should Juventus win it. Juve would be demoted to the last place in the championship, and therefore relegated to Serie B. The justice court is set to study the Genova case of last summer, when deciding its punishment.
Also the position of Lazio is very serious. The direct involvement (according to the phone interceptions) of president Claudio Lotito means Lazio could face the same punishment, relegation to Serie B and points deduction next season. The situation isnt as bad for Milan & Fiorentina. The rossoneri can avoid huge punishment, though points deduction for this season looks likely, which would mean no CL or UEFA Cup. Same case for La Viola. And as for the final table for this season? If all is proved then the Scudetto will be given to Inter, Roma in 2nd (automatic CL), Chievo 3rd & Palermo 4th (CL Qualifiers) and salvation for at least two of the relegated teams, Lecce & Treviso since Messina is also involved.
