I'll tell you why: because Carraro is (was) not only Figc's president, but also an administrator of Capitalia, which would be the bank Roma (and Lazio) had most of their debits with. If they bankrupted, Carraro would have never gotten his money back.

Anyway, I'm the first to say that Moggi and Giraudo weren't what you'd call "gentlemen" in these phone calls.
And yes, his yougest son plays in our primavera. He was at the stadium on Sunday watching the match with his dad, Moggi and Giraudo. I guess the Bettegas weren't offended
