why do his backup plans sound better than his preferred option then? He’d have complete control at juve, if we’re just gonna believe the reporting.
I didn't get complete control from the reporting tbh.

But even if it was we don't know what conditions RM are offering. Zidane did have a fair bit of input there and you could argue slightly less control at RM is offset by a better starting team, more prestige, more money etc.

Also, control is more important here where every penny matters and you can't sign whoever you want so you want specific characteristics since you cannot have the most complete or best player. Madrid just sign the best player.

He finished his 3 last games very well but I doubt our board will look at 3 games over an entire season.
Firing Pirlo is the right thing to do and I doubt he`d get to stay.
Also after reports continuing to mention a replacement - If that is not the case we would have heard a statement by now.
Us still not firing him means we are waiting for someone so its either Zidane or Allegri (unless they both are unavailable and in that case we would hear about the new guy soon)

Massimiliano Allegri has been contacted by Juventus. Andrea Agnelli wants him back in case Pirlo will be sacked - Allegri’s priority is Real Madrid job, he’s waiting... but it only depends by Zidane final decision.

Also: Allegri’s agent was in Madrid today.

If we were a proper club, De Vrij would have been on his way to us already before that game and inter would have finished 5th. Instead we paid 35M for Bonucci in a summer when we needed to strengthen the midfield
In retrospect, I’m not mad about that deal because we got him for Caldara, who can barely stay on the pitch. But at the time, I was livid.

We could have used Caldara better, he had value back then. But seeing how we tossed away Romero, who knows how Tici would have handled that

We loaned Higuain to them and we sold Caldara to them. But we did them a favor, because they spent a lot on Bonucci and had him on 8M net, so he was a burden to their books. 35M meant they made plusvalenza iirc and lost a 8M net flop. And they repaid the favor by sending back Higuain 6 months later.
But what I'm saying is you had a better opportunity in De Vrij let go to your rival, while you helped out another rival like that. It's unnecessary waste of funds and assets when you had more pressing needs. I'm no fan of the Pjanic Arthur exchange either. It's unnecessary and simply bad business
We dodged a bullet with Caldara as well. Speaking of de Vrij, you just can't sign all the opportunities that arise. Pjanic has turned out to be a total disaster for Barcelona while I still have some hope for Arthur. At least he's much younger.

Caldara had value back then, and the best we could get is 31 yo Bonucci? Milan was delighted to get rid of him. You can't sign all opportunities, true, but some you have to take, like they are right infront of you. We had Chiellini, Benatia, Rugani. Barza was retiring and Caldara was plusvalenza. De Vrij is a freebie and one of the best CBs in the league.

Arthur has been a disaster for us as well, and we won't be able to sell him for a couple of years atleast because of his high price

According to some, in the Partita del Cuore last night Allegri was given number 5 to resemble ofc the 5 consecutive Scudetto's he won at the Juventus Stadium.

Even more interesting would be that by the exact same logic, one could say, myself in this case, that perhaps Pirlo was also low-key given the number 10 to resemble the 10th legendary Scudetto he lost?

LMAO if someone deep in the background plotted about having a dig at an unsuspecting Pirlo and offered him the no.10 out of spite.
