You guys keep forgetting that we sold them 30yo tired Mire for 60mln.
no dude, nobody forgot that, and it doesn't make arthur any cheaper. let's not go into a lesson about ticiconomics either, we've been through this a couple of times.

it's very simple: arthur is a player that costs more than 20m per season. only costa, de ligt and ronaldo are/were more expensive. and he's only a squad player with questionable mentality and physical state, who failed to show any consistency in europe. at least he's young and has some potential, but what he showed so far is just insufficient compared to the investment the club made.

...I don't think Paratici is leaving.
there's not a single indication that we'll offer him a new contract that is set to expire in ~5 weeks.

We dodged a bullet with Caldara as well. Speaking of de Vrij, you just can't sign all the opportunities that arise. Pjanic has turned out to be a total disaster for Barcelona while I still have some hope for Arthur. At least he's much younger.
Opportunities are Tici’s M.O.

Fvck squad construction. Let’s overpay spare players and their agents to save on the transfer fees. Opportunities.

I wonder if Real would/will opt for Allegri or Conte.
I think the very reason they would go for Allegri is for his versatility and ability to work with what he is given without making any flashy demands while delivering best possible results aswell, which i don't think would be the same story with Conte because he will ask for some specific players in order for his fixed formation to work just to then moan some more when results don't go his way.

That is painfully true. However strict financial parameters and plusvalenza requirements also played a huge part tho in the overall picture.

That would be really disgusting.
Always imagine the most disgusting scenario and know that it will happen.

So to you Paratici staying is directly related to Pirlo also staying?

Don't think that is the case at all.
For me Paratici staying is directly related to Allegri NOT coming.

For me Pirlo is staying because he should have been fired early in the season but he wasn't. There were many instances during the season where the logical decision was sacking Pirlo but he stayed and stayed and left the fate of a CL spot to the last day in the hand of other clubs. This, for me, is enough reason that the management want to stick with him no matter what.

Even though I was hoping for something new like Zidane, I'd also be happy to sign Allegri before Zidane makes his decision. I just don't want want to see Allegri joining Inter and Zidane committing to France while we'd end up chasing Inzaghi and Mihajlovic.

Not that i agree or think that will eventually or necessarily be the case, but that's a fair point to consider indeed.

Reliable Inter journalist says today is likely Conte's final day. Negotiating on his severance package and a clause which prevents him from taking another job in Italy right away.

Allegri first choice for Marotta, but Allegri already in advanced negotiations with Juve according to him.

Di Marzio did say two days ago that RM asked Allegri to wait until Thursday. If it goes longer than that maybe he really does just say fuck it and takes bird in hand instead of waiting on Zidane...

La Repubblica reports Juventus have decided to part ways with sporting director Fabio Paratici.
The Exor shareholders’ meeting will take place tomorrow and the newspaper claims they will start by confirming Paratici’s exit.
He is to be replaced in the role by Federico Cherubini.

So there is a chance now..
I just hope Cherubini is legit.

Arthur might weight on our books but we have also experienced a huge plusvalenza on Pjanic which wouldn't be the case without Arthur's arrival. So Brazilian's annual cost should be lowered by the annual plusvalenza we got on Pjanic.
