:agree: I remember him saying it in a press conference too.

I always thought he’d come to us one day, he has experience playing in Italy, appreciates the league and country and coaching the biggest clubs in every top league seems like a goal for him.
agreed. Its just been a feeling I've had that hes the next coach. Hes gonna bring us the CL.

Why would a random board member talk on tv like this? Why not just release a statement on their official website and move on from it?

I’m not saying its happening because its not and honestly I feel like we’re trying to trick ourselves into believing its happening. City and Pep have doubled down on the fact that he’s not leaving.

City: Pep to Juve 'codswallop'

Manchester City have denied ‘codswallop’ that Coach Pep Guardiola will join Juventus this summer.
One of Italy’s leading news agencies reported on Thursday that Juve would appoint Guardiola as their new Coach on June 4.
However, City board member Alberto Galassi told Sky Sport Italia: “As a City board member, I was surprised to read such codswallop.
“He’s our Coach and, he wants to stay with us. He can’t understand how his word is not being heard. It’s all a falsehood.
“The first thing a serious club does in these cases is to contact the other club. It’s unthinkable that City are unaware of his supposed presentation in just a few days.
“The story is totally without foundation. We don’t understand why a club should intervene for the umpteenth time to say Guardiola doesn’t want to leave Manchester City. This question doesn’t exist.”
However, Galassi did reveal he had talked to Bianconeri supremo Pavel Nedved.
“We’ve known each other for a long time, we had a laugh. Juventus are a club that don’t need to be defended and we both realised that the issue had become ridiculous.
“I’m sorry for the Juventus fans, but they’ll have to find another Coach.

Their website is busy posting rumours.

:tuttosport:

Basically what it says is gasperini to Roma, Inzaghi to Milan
And guardiola will come to juve after city is banned for 2 years due to a clause in his contract.

Juve will get koudibaly, pogba (dybala to man u) and icardi(with the money from higuain)

Mandzukic and Khedira gone
Did Agnelli use his influence to get City banned to get Pep? :klin:
