Improved them by 2 points. With his 72 points he would've finished 5th last season too. And they were not in EL final because they were in CL knockouts.

I think he said we would wait until the Final for Guardiola not that we HAVE to wait until the Final. As in, Guardiola's decision could come tomorrow but we are only willing to wait until the Final.

Not denying that. But he hardly improved them. He only got 3rd place because United and Arsenal were really bad and Spurs didn't care much about the league other than top 4.
