Can you read? HE GOT 2 MORE POINTS THAN CONTE'S SECOND SEASON! he would've been exactly the same position as Conte last season. And please enlighten me on which better player Conte had in his second season? Batshuayi?
Sarri took his darling Jorginho there too.
He also took Higuain there, and as this forum has always pointed out, Higuain is twice the player Morata is.

Aside from that, I truly fail to see how anyone could think Conte’s squad was better last season lol. Maybe first year, when he still had Costa and Matic, but last year lol

And in that first year, Conte smashed the premier league with ease.

Napoli lost Hamsik and Jorginho and still came in 2nd. Admitedly, with probably 9pts less than last year, but this generation was clearly at the peak last season and was burnt out after that dramatic ending

Lol

Chelsea was in CL last year, they got knocked out in knockout stage. Of course they aren’t in EL final. Chelsea has played a bunch of minnows in Europa. Frankfurt? Give me a break. Chelsea is the most nice expensive team in that competition.

Last year 4th place had 75 points, this year Chelsea finished 3rd with 72, a 2 point improvement on what was considered a disaster season by Conte. The only reason they are in 3rd is because every team around them tried to throw away their CL aspiration too. Also Sarri’s amazing attacking football has scored 1 more goal over Conte’s Uber-defensive football. Much wow, great style, beautiful football.

The premier league review someone’s posted here a while ago called Chelsea’s football under Sarri the most boring, insomnia curing spectacle in the premier league :lol3:
Ffs stop this 72 points argument it doesnt hold any water. Last year Napoli got 91 points and ended up 2nd. Are you saying Sarri is better than Ancelotti?

No we're saying he did not improve Chelsea. This is not a popularity contest.
He was the laughing stock of EPL, posting memorable results like 6-0 to City and 4-0 to Bournemouth. Thank God for Ole and Arsenal's awful away form they actually could get a CL spot.

This season Ancelotti gonna (probably) end up with 82pts. Thats the same as Sarri in his 1st season, when he had Jorginho, Hamsik, Ghoulam and Higuain still. And Ancelotti was never a league coach while sarri is lol

It's seems some really don't follow the Premier League around here. Sarri has been a big disappointment at Chelsea. Their fans and most of the British media have not been at all impressed by him. He has been criticized for being tactically stubborn and predictable. Thankfully for Chelsea they've had one of the best players in the world in Hazard bailing them out on multiple occasions and their rivals have been equally as bad. Their play has been unimaginative and ineffective for large periods of the season. Ironically the critique is pretty similar to what Allegri got around here for the past two seasons.

I am glad to hear that management is taking their time as this is the most important acquisition one can make. Def take your time, hell, hire a caretaker manager for preseason if need be so long as we get a top coach rather than just someone available and obedient.

Ancelotti lost Jorginho and Hamsik, and has never been much of a league coach anyways.

Besides Ancelotti did More than Sarri did last year in Europe at Napoli.

Sarri from 5th place to 3rd place and Europa Leauge final. If you dont see that as an improvement then your blind by hatred.

Im gonna enjoy when Juve annouces Sarri as a coach. You and Post Ironic :tuttosport:

Are you saying that Sarrismo, the ultimate expression of beautiful team play, relied on Hazard’s individual brilliance this year, because that team play was ineffective to the point of being soporific?

Shh. Don’t say this. You might hurt the Sarri fanbase’s feelings.
