Having one solid CL proven player can make a huge difference. I did not say sell them all, but make sure you have a proven CL player there (seeing as how Andrade's situation is unclear atm)

Half of our current squad are proven CL players and the other half are youngsters who should (and hopefully will) learn a lot from them. I see nothing wrong as it is, that's how the generation change is made.

I serioulsy doubt that. Samuel is immense for Inter. They won´t sell their best defenders.

They would consider Chiellini for sure. But in reality they can have Boumsong, Grygera or Zebina.

He is very happy there and Inter have a lot of quality defenders. I really don´t see the need for Carvalho there.
