That we can negotatiate with other clubs which are interested in Giovinco. We don't have to wait for his contract to expire or accept some exchange deals from Fiorentina, if we have reached agreement with Neto.
And probably Giovinco reached an agreement with Fiorentina.

So again you have no point.

Probably he reached an agreement yesterday with Monaco and two days ago with Tottenham.

His future is under big question mark and he hasn't picked a club yet.

You are certainly right in that the deal wouldn't harm us much, but tbh I feel we have more use of Giovinco in the next few months than Neto. Obviously, as Giovincos contribution to the team hasn't been essential or anything he would not make a major difference, but still.

But Neto has?

I agree, but I don't think Allegri will use Giovinco anymore.

And that's my point ;-).

We are much closer in the race to acquire Neto than Fiorentina to get Giovinco. Why should we give up now and in fact gift them a player?
No we are not. Giovinco's situation is the same as Neto's and the rest is pure speculation.

Giovinco hasn't played in ages, we might as well free him.

Didn't you notice that we are talking about speculation?

Giovinco hasn't played from ages, but I doubt he would be willing to move to Fiorentina.

Then speculation goes both ways. Neto is also being linked to Roma, Liverpool, etc...

Gio's been linked to Fiorentina for a very long time now and why wouldn't he ? Their dependence on Rossi is clearly killing them, so he'd be useful there.

Neto at Juventus is a completely different story. Not a bad goalie, but surely we should find someone better, right?!

it's retarded because we have no need for another goalkeeper, especially one who isn't going to rival Buffon even in the long run as he isn't even that good. Secondly fiorentina have much more to gain out of this deal as giovinco would strengthen a very shallow fiorentina attack i can see him doing very well in an environment such as fiorentina's. we are better off using Giovinco as a make weight for someone else who will actually add something to the team even if it is just a back up defender at least he is more likely to get game time than neto who at most will feature in coppa italia matches and when Buffon is rarely unavailable

Giovinco will not move just anywhere... He know he can pick up a big paycheck this summer if nothing serious happens now. So we can forget about using Giovinco to pick up another great player unless he actually wants to walk the other way and the opposing team needs him right away, which might be the case with Fiorentina. But there aren't many out there...

What another brilliant idea by Marotta, sending off a striker to a rival for an OK goalkeeper.

...
it's marotta.... he paid 11 mill for giovinco after all

Pure mediocrity. Be lucky to make EL places with that
but looking at the attacking 3 behind gomez there is some fucking pace in that more so than ours
