CM is an issue, and has been since last season. Khedira might not stay healthy the entire year. We're also unsure what state Marchisio will be in. Pjanic is the only reliable starter at present. Our depth and backups are horrible. We need one quality/solid reinforcement in midfield.

I said it was an issue but not as much as the other two. Do you disagree? It will be addressed but top dogs like Costa and James and those players go first and then the trickle down usually happens

I'd say CM is equally as important as wingers at this point. We currently have Cuadrado, Costa, Pjaca, and Mandzukic for the wing positions.

If Chelsea’s demands are really in the region of €40M, then I'm pretty sure we won't get him. We aren't willing to pay more than 30 for N'Zonzi , we sure as hell won't be willing to pay €40M for Matic and there really isn't a sizeable difference between either. Actually I think they're on par. Plus I don't think Chelsea would entertain another session of us lowballing them for one of their players especially since we rejected their Sandro offer.

I just have major doubts this deal happens. I think he'll try and force a move to United instead.
