We sold Bonucci, and are "flush with cash." Can't we just go back for Nzonzi? Negotiate a 10 million + 25 million obligation to buy deal, and throw in some bonuses for 5 million, so we can arrive at the magic number they want over there :donedeal: :D

Cm is the least of our transfer issues despite what some here think
Depth up top
rb
cm

We got the first one taken are of so now we need a rb and then go for a cm unless we get someone as a stopgap and get a baller next summer
CM is an issue, and has been since last season. Khedira might not stay healthy the entire year. We're also unsure what state Marchisio will be in. Pjanic is the only reliable starter at present. Our depth and backups are horrible. We need one quality/solid reinforcement in midfield.

Couldn't agree more, we need to bit the bullet with N'Zonzi now. Can looks to be happy to stay at Liverpool and play CL, Matic was always going to prefer Man U (just depends if Chelsea are happy to sell him to another PL team). So it's either matuidi or N'Zonzi and PSG gate our guys.

The only problem is that Sevilla don't sell players like Juve do. They don't negotiate, it's simply 'pay the clause and he's yours'

Marotta could learn a thing or two

Yes, Marotta could learn a thing or two from Monchi, who just lost Roma's best player...

It won't. Thankfully the players are mentally a bit stronger than the average Tuzzer
but isnt weird that Milan fans are now super excited for the new season and full of optimism when their team is still really bad and if they are luck they will be in the top 3, while Juve fans who were 1 match away from the treble are pessimistic af

Hardly the same scenario and I don't want to patronise you. You clearly know Roma needed to sell players in order to meet FFP commitments. Sevilla and Juventus don't
Still he could've sold some deadwood instead of his most influential player and you clearly know Sevilla got eliminated from the CL by Marotta's team. No lessons needed here, Bonucci burned himself and will suffer in the end.

It is. Don't understand it at all personally.

That optimism will be their downfall this season. They have pretty much acquired a whole new squad, which means that it'll take months for them to form any kind of chemistry and tactical cohesion. I foresee them struggling the first 3 months of the upcoming Serie A season.

No surprise there. You're excited when your team starts the season with a better squad than you had last season. Milan fans look forward as they finally can be competitive while we just lost two of our starting players.

Every other Serie A team fan believes they can just emulate our success by making a few smart signings and winning Serie A like Juve did out of nowhere 6 years ago. They all forget 10/11. Winning the league takes careful planning and smart moves. Is Montella good enough to lead an above average squad to the title? Will they focus only on Serie A?

The concerning thing, for me, about negotiating with Chelsea right now for Matic (if this is truly the case), is that it's no secret that they want Alex Sandro ...

Would tend to agree or least hoping it occurs. Bonucci worked so well in a stable backline group for years at Juve. IMO they were great technique wise but not the fastest on their feet individual wise. Let's see how our guy performs over there?
