I want a good player and not just a backup. I think Khedira will miss many matches for us while I don't know what to expect from Marchisio after this injury. We have Lemina as a good backup. Matic imo would be ideal for our team and I thinnk he'd fit in perfectly.

All I'm saying is Matic will command a starting spot regardless and he's an established player. We have 4 established midfielders right now for 3 midfield spots and one is injured.
In theory, it sounds good but so was the theory that Khedira will backup to MVP last year.

Do you really think with the new regulations in Serie A we can afford to have 3-4 players who essentially be fighting for 1 spot? Especially considering our squad will probably be like 23 players next season (plus Primavera players)
