Need help from Italians or those who went there a number of times (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

I'll be going to Padova at the end of May to a Bruce Springsteen concert. I'll be going by car most likely with my friends.

This is where I'll be staying. We're on a tight budget and this was the cheapest hotel that offers parking I could find.

The concert will be at Stadio Euganeo.

I'm not worried about everything before the concert, we'll have plenty of time and we'll manage to find the stadium and everything. But if someone has information on the fastet route to get from the hotel to the center and then to the stadium, using public transportation, I'm all ears.

I'm worried more about after the concert since it will be late evening and we'll probably be drunk and tired. I suppose there'll be some organised bus line to take folks from the stadium to the city center, since it's a huge concert...maybe.

What worries me most is night time transportation, how often do buses go during the night? Trams? Every half hour, every hour, etc? I think this info can be found here but my Italian is non-existent.

Any help from folks who are either fluent in Italian or been to Padova or are in Padova, is appreciated.

It looks like you can take the #13 tram, will get you most of the way to the hotel. As far as the schedule goes I'm not sure you can even find out at this time what it's going to be that far ahead. Right now they have a Christmas schedule up where there are no trams after 20.

Depends on the city but usually every half an hour until 12-1 then they switch to hourly

Dude, six months is enough time to learn enough Italian to get around and ask where things are. Definitely a worthy investment of time that will enhance the traveling experience a lot.

Nice i am actually living in padova right now , i am here for college , returning home tomorrow . As for the quickest road to the concert use google maps or take a map in the hotel where you will stay , they usually always have some maps on display in the waiting room which you can take , it is pretty easy to orientate with a map , still it is advised to go there once before the concert just in case . I don't advise taxis couse they are expensive . As for trams to say it really in the 3 months i've been here i have not once used public transportation so i don't really know what to say , but if i remember correctly they stop working after 11:00 or something like that , could be mistaken though .

When you come here i advise to make a visit at the churches , there are 2 especially beutiful churches , one of them is one of the biggest in europe if i am not mistaken
