the suns or spurs will win it this year. the mavs suck and their owner swallows. mark my words that the celtics with quite possibly the greatest trio in nba history will not make the playoffs this season. fuck the nba cuz seriously after jordan left in 99 its all been a bunch of sorry biitches playing the game. thank god i was fortunate enough to see the greats play during the nba's zenith. but now its the nfl that rules here not the nba and thats my word.

its a shame that the best overall player in the nba (kobe) has his owner NOW wanting to move him after a long offseason dumb ass dr. gerry buss comes out and says that :disagree:. lakers mgmt is comprised of a group of morons and that is why shaq won a 4th ring cuz they gave him away and were left with nothing. but on the real i do like kobe and he is unstoppable, anytime someone can go for 81 on a team, avg 40+ pts for more than a month with absolute shit surrounding you as a supporting cast -- you have to be pretty fucking good.

Laker fan here.

They are going to suck this year. If Kobe wants to go, then let him. Can't say I blame him, since management basically lied to him when he re-signed in the summer of 2004. In regards to the Shaq fiasco, that was all on Jerry Buss, not Kobe, as most, if not everyone were led to believe. Shaq even said it himself when Kobe finally said as much over the summer. Problem is, the Lakers weren't going to give Shaq an extension on his contract at 30 million per year. It was never going to happen.

That being said, they will suck this year, and if they can get something good in return for Kobe, you have to think really hard about not doing the deal.
