That's like saying, "Well, France shouldn't have Zidane, Henry, and Trezeguet , because they imploded at the 2002 WC, and didn't even make it out of the qualifying round, so they shouldn't even be at Euro 2004"

Come on now.
even without them we can still win the EC;)

I thought you were Tunisian, I always confuse Tunisia with France myself so you are in good company:D . But I am sure you are kidding, without Henry and Zz, Franmce would go out in the group stages , guaranteed.

Do England have any good left wingers? If they can find one then they'll be a real threat in Portugal. I can't really see them winning, but Beckham, Gerrard and Lampard form one hell of a midfield.

Not to mention Paul Scholes.

I love the azzurri but to be honest thier last couple of performances in major competitions has be unconvincing to say the least. It seems on paper they should win euro and I really hope they do so FORZA AZZURRI.

Birindelli is waaaaaaay better than Panucci!!Hes faster and doesn't make as many mistakes!
Although I'd probably rather see Oddo play at right back!! Or even Pancaro!

buffon

panacaro cannavaro nesta zambrotta

gattuso Pirlo Perrotta

Cassano Totti

Del Piero

Iv'e decided this is my team !! a little small up front I know but who else is there??? Corradi or Vieri or maybe Inzaghi??I prefer Del Piero...he's good on his head!!

Would u guy's be happy with this team?

Pancaro has been surprisingly good with Milan this year. He hardly made us regret Kaladze's long absence, and the Georgian will have to fight hard if he wants to retain a spot in the starting 11 now that he's fit again.

Considering the scarcity of left and right backs that the NT is suffering from (Oddo, Birindelli and Panucci are ok but not extraordinary, Coco never plays, Pessotto is past it - only Zambrotta is really class), I'd say Pancaro deserves a seat on the plane to Portugal. Besides, he can play both right and left back, which is always a plus.

A Cassano-Totti-DP offensive trio cannot work, for obvious reasons.

Trap should try this out in a friendly, it may work, all three of them could keep swapping positions!! the opposition would be all over the place!!

I know Totti and Del Piero don't see eye to eye and Cassano can be a little brat but they gotta make this work for there country!!!

Naa, i doubt Trap wud try that. Let him stick to what's working, or his over occupied brain may just commit a few errors when we least need it.
