I loe you even more.
Hey, at least someone likes me round here!:D

Azzurri7 - I never said Juve lost to Reggina because of DP, I never said we drew with Palermo because of DP...

We always get these stupid kinds of arguments when anyone begins to criticise DP. People jump to stupid conclusions about what the other has said, I never said anything like that and if you read my post you'll see it.

It seems a lot of these DP 'fans' must be around 10 years old because they don't seem able to have a sensible discussion about him. They just attack anyone who says anything negative about him and post babyish replies.

Oh yeah i forgot we lost against Reggina because of Alessandro Del Piero
Oh no we draw Palermo Because of Alex
WTF??

Maybe you should get your mummy to read my post to you, maybe she can explain to you what all those big words meant.

this is rubbish. just because Del Piero gave us a lot of trophies doesn't mean that he shouldn't be benched.
he can be bench when there will be someone better to replace him, at this moment i see no why to bench him

Maybe I'm just resorting to your level, the fact I have asked for mature discussion about 20 times before seems to have been missed by you.

As for your post that Juve should play DP because he has won us loads of trophies in the past - that is the biggest load of rubbish I have ever heard.

What about Peruzzi, Conte, Ferrara, Deschamps, Zidane etc? Does the same apply to them? And if not, why not? They won us those trophies just as much as DP did. They can be sold, and put on the bench...so why is DP any different?

you wouldn't like that, now would you
I'm not talking about the 'insult', but you're making groundless claims again. What evidence do you have that points to Monkfish being a "plastic fan"?

baggio, I know people expect Del Piero to perform better. I expect more from him too. But people must take it to consideration that Del Piero hasn't been going well with injuries since 98', and it's a little bit hard for him to come back at his best. He was out for two weeks, and when he came back, even that not 100% fit, he scored three goals, and that's not that easy you know. I'm not trying to defend Del Piero, but people must stop criticizing him in that way, after all, we don't have anyone better who could take Del Piero's role. If someone was to come here, I wouldn't mind him taking Del Piero's place in the starting eleven, as I don't care just about one player, I care for Juve. If Miccoli was here, or if Mutu would come, I would gladly put them in front of Del Piero in starting eleven.
Well, then we agree. :)

Except, when you say there's noone better to take his role, do you mean as a symbol of the club or on the pitch? The latter has already been taken care off i think. And its not long before we find ourselves the heir to Dp's throne as symbol of the club.

Mutu or Cassano, perhaps. ;)

I mean on the pitch. With our current players, there is none better than Del Piero for his role, but maybe if we bought Cassano and Mutu, then Del Piero could be relegated on the bench.

And what do you expect him to do? Del Piero was injured during the Euro and until the start of the season. It's not easy to come back as a goalscoring machine from an injury.

I know that Del Piero hasn't been playing well recently, despite scoring 5 goals, but criticizing him like this it's a little bit unfair to him.
Well in this world of Del Piero lovers, somebody has to.

Excuses excuses, that should be Del Piero's middle name. Every year its the same thing; Del Piero gets injured, then months down the road people are still giving him time to recover. I'm sorry, but we can't keep waiting for Del Piero to recover old form. We also know these excuses we give him are pathetic, and repeated too often. Sorry guys, once Mutu, Cassano, or Boijinov comes to Turin, Del Piero's career here will be over. The sooner the better.
