i was xcited about mutu to juve a year or two ago, but i'm not too keen on him now.... it's not becoz of his form or whether he's enuff these days, but simply becoz i don't think we need him... Miccoli, if he stays, i feel he can have a great future at juve.... And we still have DP... Plus gilardinho's probably coming over next season.. Even if we sell trez, we're just gonna have a surplus of top-notch strikers, and i don't want to see either miccoli nor mutu on the bench next season....

And Chelsky paid a lot for Makele etc, they aren't all good...

Makalele is THE BEST for the job that is ment to be: for DM(read: DEFENSIVE midfielder). He does his homework flawless. Takeing the ball from opposition and dissrupting their game. Its not his fault that Chelskey has a lousy players on other parts of pitch.....but.....who is in CL for now? he or (Viera/Emerson/24y.old-still-hot-prospect-Maresca/Pirlo/Keane)?

And onley better player overall in Juve than Mutu is Nedved! End of conversation!

There are a lot of good defensive midfielders: Davids, Viera, Emerson, Makele, etc. The problem is that none of them are accessable to us, and all of them are a bit old for my liking. Buying a younger DM, like Pedretti makes more sense because he'll be with us longer and will cost less.

Same here, but I don't think that we need to buy a DM at all. Bring back Blasi and Brighi and we'll have three young, promising DM's. One of them will have to be good.

blasi , never really impressed me,but if we can get him back, and buy mexes i will be happy. If buyin a dm sacrifices mexes, then they can sod off, we have enough already.

Pedretti would be good! However, I think it depends on the coach, who will come. If its Prandelli, we will get Emerson or any player from the Serie A, and if its DD, it will be Pedretti!

I don't think that Mexes is a real option whether we get a DM or not. But, given the choice, I would definitely take Mexes over any DM with the exception of Davids.

Oh c'mon, Makelele doesn't have enough consistency, why else Chelsea are keen to sell him?! And about Mutu we disagree, but that's just ok, I don't want to argue...

Makelele is good, but I prefer Davids.
