Incredibly unlikely but Trump might flirt with it, use the story, as he seems to love creating drama/ distractions for the press when it suits his goals like the 49 South African refugees. Still, I think an actual pardon isn't coming because of how unpopular it would be also it would only be a federal pardon while he has state and federal charges.
