That's one way to look at it, or like i said the closest ones and the ones most likely to fold to initiate the domino effect. The answer to the why and whether this was insanity or a stroke of genius will only be revealed down the road, so at this point we are just speculating.
can you explain how threatening to annex canada is a stroke of genius?

They also invest in infrastructure, meanwhile we only need to look at how Republicans handled that during the Biden administration.

Nothing wrong about what he says, 5000 years of history and China have survived through all the ups and downs of history. But the economy is completely different today. The US has a long arm over all global markets. The value of the currency and US's policies have a direct impact on all industries in the world. Just look at the economic situation in Germany. Since the sanctions and negative policies of America on China have directly affected the German industry and economy, Germany imports raw materials from China. Even though China has the largest labor force and vast industry with access to global markets, it is inevitable that they will be financially disadvantaged due to US policies.

In what way? It’s fake nationalist horseshit. Of course they care about US market and they should.
chinese citizens are more likely to withstand hardship than american ones. due to going through hardships and also way CCP rules over.

americans cry if the drive thru line takes longer than few mins. they lost their minds at thought of wearing a mask to protect against getting sick.

they won't handle a decrease in quality of life due to these sanctions like chinese would. when it comes to who will cave under pressure first i put fat americans retards over chinese people.

it's just talk indeed, these two countries/markets mutually need each other. they are trading almost ~500bn per year in both directions, that cannot be ignored

trump chose violence instead of talk, so he gets violence in return

Also, keep in mind this: https://www.gisreportsonline.com/r/china-deflation/

China is absolutely in need of coming to some sort of agreement with the US.

This isn’t me agreeing with Trump or supporting his idiotic policies. They could absolutely wreck the US economy near term, but they will also wreck China, with their economy already in much worse shape and still quite dependent on exports to America.

The assumption here is trump/maga will hold under pressure when china will fold, but china doesn’t need to fold. They just need to wait a few days or months and trump will fold. See exemption to phone and computer chips that came now when trump said he won’t fold just 3 days ago.

I assume Walmart, target and other stores will out pressure soon to make him fold .

It has nothing to do with BMI. Americans vote in elections and Chinese don’t. That’s why China is inherently more resistant to pressure.
However, the people who usually talk tough, like the guy in the video, typically don’t share any of this burden. Also, China existed for 5000 years is a pretty funny statement, since those 5000 years have not been without near destruction disasters. As psychopathic as Trump is, the goal here is not to annihilate China.

These are the type of people we need.

i suspect i'm seeing an average maga economist free thinker mastermind here?

I couldn’t imagine anything worse than this. It’s almost as if the people running the country now are worse than Osama Bin Laden. Even after 9/11 our currency wasn’t destroyed, we were still the world reserve currency, and came back relatively quickly. These people want to suicide bomb our economy and are way bigger terrorists than Al Qaeda. They should be treated as such.

And that’s not even hyperbole. If these freaks get what they want, our standard of living is destroyed overnight, and we get a Weimar situation except we don’t produce anything at all. I think that’s what some of these Christian Nationalists want though.

The bigger problem for the US is not that China and the EU will be looking for business deals. They will eventually, probably as soon as Trump caves entirely.

But deal or no deal, they will divert away from the US market in the coming years and won't be caught in this position again.

The US is large, sure. But you could survive without if need be.
