This just sounds like some sort of coping mechanism for all the horrible crap going on. Obviously Israel is up MAGA’s ass. To make all of this Israel fluffing and deporting of pro-Palestinian protestors as some sort of psyop sacrifice to end their influence over us is quite the remarkable theory. It actually sounds like some weird QAnon stuff with built in plausible deniability. You can do better than this.

It's large scale failure of the education system. Nothing more, nothing less.

And while I do think the rest of the world should cut their losses and simply abandon the US for the time being (there's no real coming back from this for the foreseeable future), it should serve as a warning sign. Because in Europe in particular we tend to look at Americans as morons. But the reality is our own education is deteroriating incredibly quickly. When I talk to younger lawyers or younger teammates, it's astonishing to learn how poorly educated they are. And not just about politics or law. It's about everything, hell, even sex ed just seems absent. I don't know what the fuck happened the last decade or so.

My neighbor (not the MAGA neighbor) is running for city council, and he's up against some 25 year-old MAGA slut who makes ads on Tick Tock dressed in an Murican flag bikini with her fake double D implants. She is encouraging everyone to make babies and shoot guns. I'm sure she will win, but what the fuck does this have to do with city council topics?

I blame the boomertards and parents. Parents are the worst. They have no idea how to raise children and their collective average IQ is too low to have any redeeming qualities.

Education is no longer about actually learning, it's about getting pushed through to the next step over the years until you get a piece of paper so that you can get a job. This is what the cost of living allows for.

I cancelled plans to go to the US this year as well. So did two of my friends.

It's a bit hard to say for me just how important tourism is in the US. There's a lot of internal tourism too obviously. But I'm thinking this is going to add up and will lose some people their job. Then there's the tariffs making life generally more expensive in the US.

I just don't see how the US is going to benefit from any of this.

it does affect them. already the touristy towns that used to get a lot of canadians are saying business is suffering due to lack of canadians coming into towns.

I also cancelled my plans to spend 3 weeks during summer in US and catch at least a jj game in the club world cup. Total 5 people. Also cancelled another trip later in the year.
